why would dirrell fake being ko'd?

These are professional boxing rules.

If he hit when he was down like that and didnt knock him unconscious then its a 2 point deduction, either way fight continues and AA has chance to knock him out, hes already down on points.
Dirrell gets knocked out and that he can't continue to fight then its an automatic disqualification, that is why he would fake it.

Although I think he was not faking and all this talk that he was is bull****.
