Floyd showing he ain't like other fighters he take nothing for granted. Which is why he a top pro.

If he lost to Guerrero everyone would say oh he was looking ahead to a mega fight in September.

Floyd to clever for that. He gave Canelo his word but that wasn't enough. Canelo better worry about beating trout, because that kid can box.

i guess you really did need it explained. tell me, since fans buy ppv for the main event, why not just fill the undercards with local punching bags... hell, why even have undercards at all? why spend millions paying name fighters when they do so little for ppv sales?

Why rush, he'll a Manny or JMM match both who are bigger names than Canelo might still be available in Sept. With JMM asking Arum for 20 million its clear he's cashing out........................

That's all you had to say, Floyd's 5th divisional title is paper. Glad you made the comparison to Pac's bogus 8th belt, it's on point.

Still shaky on the facts, not surprising. DLH was not #1 at 154 when Floyd fought him. Cotto was, so I wonder why the reluctance to fight the lower ranked guys.

The undercards are used by promoters to, get this...promote their own fighters. You ever wonder why GBP undercards are filled with GBP fighters? GBP put Alvarez on Mayweather undercards not to help out sales, but moreso to raise Alvarez's profile. Alvarez has never headlined a ppv. Mayweather has succesfully headlined several succesfull PPVs. This includes many of the highest grossing non HW ppvs of all time. So how does it make sense that Mayweather would need Alvarez on his undercard to boost sales?

Wait what? lol...when did that happen? He's either fighting on an undercard, or he's headlining a non PPV event. Can't believe people think Canelo is a real draw.
