Let's hold off until the fight gets signed. Mikey has a long proven history of calling guys out, being offered fights, and then walking away to fight lesser quality opposition. His nutnuggers ignore this ugly little fact, though.

I actually think Garcia has a decent shot at beating Spence. Wonder if he stays up there if he does so. Maybe a Crawford fight? Loma said he isn’t leaving 135 any time soon.

i would put his chances at around 40%, hes that good. i think he really wants loma, i have no doubt he is absolutely sure he will beat him, but he doesnt see loma as his only road to superstardom, and he really isnt.
i like loma, pretty much as much as i like mikey, spence and crawford, but lomas fans are so much fun to troll. most are from the mma fan mold and know jack about boxing, they just know hes the mcgreggor of boxing and joe shmo calls him the matrix. of course there are many knowledgeable fans of loma, but i dont troll them.
mikey will take the loma fight in a second, but he is also not going to let arum screw him, he dont have to.

I’m a bit concerned with the shoulder. Really hope is doesn’t effect Vasyl’s performance in any way. We’ll find out soon. A lot of interesting fights on the horizon.

so am i, without his shoulder being 100%, he stands little chance against mikey, and loma knows this even if his most ardent fans refuse to see it. thats why he will fight another belt holder with an iffy shoulder, but not mikey. i wouldnt either, it would be dumb. loma also knows that is the biggest fight he will ever have, financially and legacy wise.
most of whats going on is pretty easy to understand if you can keep your emotions out of it, for some reason, most cant.

I’m sure you’ve been watching the sport a while now... remember past fighters who seemed to lose some steam/snap on their shots after shoulder surgeries? Morrison is the first one to come to mind. After that first surgery he still hit hard yes... but didn’t quite have that same zip on the left hook as he did at 21-23 years old.

Hoping Loma isn’t effected like that.

ive had a shoulder injury similar to lomas, went a year after it healed feeling like it never happened, then some exertion which wasnt all that heavy brought all that pain again. granted, i was in my 40s so my body wasnt healing itself as well as a young mans would. its really hard to know how well an injury has healed until you put it under all the stress that youre going to put it under in a top level fight. i would not be surprised if its reinjured in his next fight. youve seen what losing a little mobility in the ring can do to a quality fighter, knees and shoulders are indispensable against the worlds best. but, i really hope loma gets back to 100% even if mikey is not in his future, he could still make a historic career, more than hes already done.

Cause when or lose against Spence , the Loma fight is still there. Take the Loma fight and lose, his career just went into a deep hole.

This is something that could either be a very good decision for Mikey or it could spell disaster. But who knows. He hasn't lost yet and he may prove us all wrong since he's such an elite level talent.

Most probably because it's a Haymon v Arum fight and it just makes any fight undoable unless it's gonna bring in hundreds of millions. Spencer is probably the biggest fight he can make on Haymon side of the roster.

Nope. Wrong. Arum and Haymon have worked together in recent years. In fact, Gvodzyk Vs. Stevenson. Russell Jr. Vs. Lomachenko.
