Why would Golden Boy put Canelo in with Trout unless they were very, very confident?

GBP didn't want the fight and for good reason, Trout is a bad styles match up for Canelo the boy can box.

This is the first real test for Canelo if he's all hype Trout will expose him if he beats Trout he's the real deal and worthy of hype.

I couldn't agree more and with Trout you will find out if Canelo is really any good.

Canelo is a money maker like Mayweather.

If Canelo does manage to win, they won't put him in with Mayweather.

He's too dangerous. Floyd makes too much money for the city of Vegas.

And if Trout wins? Doesn't matter. He'll make noise, but it will fall on deaf ears.

If it's close, he'll probably rematch Canelo.

The reality is, both Canelo and Floyd are money makers. You don't put money makers in with guys that can beat them.

Maybe Trout is not as good as he is perceived.

Trout is crafty but hes not hard to hit plus he doesnt punch very hard. Hes not gonna be able to hold and dictate the pace vs Canelo. I see Alvarez winning this decisively.

Trout's gonna win the fight by a narrow decision, but as long as Canelo makes it competitive, they will give the decision to Canelo.

Oscar Gayla Hoeya is gonna babysit Ginger boy.

Void refused to fight Alvarez or Trout. Alvarez is a much better, bigger, stronger fighter than Cotto, plus Cotto's chin is gone. Cotto is not a 154 lb. fighter. Pac stopped him, destroyed him............

Alvarez' power is overrated. Shane Mosley stood right in front of Alvarez for 12 rounds and Alvarez couldn't close the deal.

Canelo Trout will be quite close - Canelo's lack of mobility is a big factor here. One thing is clear though, Mayweather won't go near the winner LOL

Alvarez would need to land it first.
