Why would Golden Boy put Canelo in with Trout unless they were very, very confident?

Yeah, that's what I think. I'm sure he was devastated when Victor got beat. You can see the look on his face.

What a stupid thing to say. Nobody has ever ¨closed the deal¨ with Mosley. Nobody has ever stopped him, dude is absolutely iron chinned.

Prime DLH couldn't stop him, Winky, Forrest, Mayweather, Pacquiao and many top fighters couldn't either, yet a green, untested Canelo is supposed to do it?

In gingers' favor, Mosley's face looked swollen as **** at the end of the fight, probably the worst it has ever looked. Canelo beat him worse than P4P kings Mayweather and Pac did for sure

Let's not forget that Kid Ginger's power was hurt by the 10 oz gloves. Those make a big difference as far as how much you can hurt a guy is concerned.

Mosley even said in an interview that Floyd hit him as hard as Canelo. Which would almost certainly be horse**** if Alvarez was wearing 8 oz gloves or if Floyd was wearing 10 oz gloves.

The fact Alvarez beat the tar out of Mosley and swelled him up to that degree even with 10 oz pillow Grant Gloves is pretty impressive.

Normally, I'd mention that, but Shane has wanted out of several fights in his career, only to be talked into sucking it up and making it to the finish line.

There's video of him wanting to quit against Manny, and I believe the same was true during the first Winky Wright fight, only for Nazeem and his dad respectively talking him into carrying on. I don't know if he wanted to quit during either Forrest fight, but it wouldn't surprise me if true.

The only fight that went against him where he was getting outboxed that he didn't get thoroughly demoralized or discouraged in was the DLH rematch, when he was roided up to the gills. Still lost the first 7 rounds, but the roids gave him the steam he needed for a late spurt to win 4 of the last 5 rounds on my card (you could argue he won only 3 of those last 5 as well.)

A clean Mosley probably thinks "****, I'm ****ed, get me outta here" in the second half of that fight.

They are confident. Alvarez is far superior to Cotto and very underrated. I think Trout is over confident, now all Alvarez needs is for Atlas to pick Trout, which will jinx Trout. Atlas is psychic in reverse..............
