Why would K2 give GGG a PPV and not Wlad Kiltschko?

    When was the last time Wlad had a PPV? David Haye?
    But his promotion is trying to push Golovkin so hard that they dropped the ball.

    Wlad is the boss and his fight is not getting as much press and promotion as it should. It's kinda stupid. The boss can't push a PPV and neither can his underlings.

    Fury is going to smash Klitschko's face in and what is Loeffler going to do with his bum killer? They can't eat off of 97k buys. HBO had to fire a man because of this arrogant garbage show put on by K2.

    Get it together Tommy boy, Wlad is too old to keep fighting for long.

    Wlad doesn't need a PPV. He co-owns K2, so he gets half of profits.

    Regular broadcast is financed mainly by TV companies, and promoters get their share.

    Golovkin is exciting and Kltschko isn't. Fight fans barley watch his free fights, i highly doubt anyone would pay to see him fight.

    Wlad can be boring as s*** or exciting as hell, it depends on his opponent and their willingness to try to win, Jennings came to survive and Wlad will not go out of his way to KO an opponent, if it happens it happens but he waits to capitalize on their mistakes, if they fight a hyper defensively responsible fight like Haye, Ibragimov and Bryant its a snoozefest but if they come to fight and win like Pulev they get KTFO in brutal highlight reel fashion, Wlad would be the biggest star in the world if every opponent he faced wanted to win, but most don't, because they know they can't.:deal

    They are pushing Golovkin in the US because that's where the money is for GGG.

    Wladimir Klitschko is a global star with status that Golovkin likely won't ever reach no matter what he does in his career.

    On the global scale, even Klitschko's smallest fight brings incomparably more money and ratings than Golovkin's PPV.

    I think they tried to make Wlad a star when he was younger in the US but it couldn't happen, so now they're trying and thus far succeeding IMO even though the PPV was low. Wlad is a much bigger star in Europe and Russia then Triple G ever will be. Plus it's his promotion, so he doesn't care. In fact he's probably happy that Triple G is doing so well in the US under his promotion.

    Well the "al haymon" way is not new.... i know its hard to grasp but it isnt , free TV still pays money to air a fight its not ppv for the viewer (aka free for us) but its sure aint free for the channel , the fights are aired around the world and have big ratings so they can sell nice ad time slots , is PPV better platform to make money , probably , but Wlad is really the star of free tv and europe , RTL (i believe is the channel) is paying big bucks for is fights and he is really famous becuase of the exposure he gets so he nets more money in standard commercials.

    So :
    * TV
    * Tickets
    *commercials
    *merchandise.

    All types of revenues. The whole lot.

    Also the Fury fight will be on UK PPV I think, so Wlad will get a share of that.

    Because Wlad Klinchko and I don't think I've ever seen Triple G initiate a clinch.

    Jennings was on the ropes for much of the fight, being elusive.
