A fight hes not interested in taking right now? He could have saved himself a lot of bashing had he just said from the beginning hes not fighting in November.
My guess is that he had a change of heart while in the youth camp. Which explains why his team was very quiet this month.
arum said dont blame floyd floyd said hes not intrested manny hasnt said much either i reckon they all have agreed to something
YES! Get this feeling too - everyone is being too coy about this whole thing. I imagine they have actually agreed to something.
You reckon they argeed to fight next year already? I doubt it, Floyd has already been burned by a gamble like that already when he agreed to fight Judah before Judah took his scheduled defence against Baldomir. Zab's loss to Baldomir ruined that fight financially for them. Stranger things have happened though I suppose...
Correct. Floyd is dedicated to the children, its not all about the money with him. He is a true hero.
yea ok you have a point but....No way Margarito Beats Pac Cotto will die. If arum is talking Nice with Floyd then a deal been made but I dont see Pac going out like Zab. Cant happen virtually Impossible. Margo isnt that good. Neither is Cotto.
Its only about the money with him. My guess is Al Haymon negotiated the fight without talking to Mayweather about time frames knowing what Floyd wanted from the first try, and then presented him with the scenario in hopes he would sign it. Im sure Haymon doesnt get paid at all until FLoyd signs to fight, so he did it on his own speculative terms thinking he could present Floyd with a workable contract and he would sign it.
Floyd won't have another fight before fighting Pacquiao (if they ever do get in the ring). He's generally only fought one fight a year for the last while. As for Manny, I don't think he'd lose either of those fights either (Cotto or Margarito). My point was that I don't think Floyd would take a risk by signing up to a Pacquiao fight until Pacquiao has no other fights scheduled in between because of what happened with the Judah fight. It is possible (but unlikely in my opinion) that they have agreement in principle but I doubt anything is set in stone (ie signed).
