Why would Miguel Cotto take on such a dangerous threat in Antonio Margarito?

Almost all of those losses was early when he was very young and he is not the same fighter he fought paul he use to start slow NOW the new Margo that start's fast if he ever fight's paul one more time he will KO him and in the first fight he started slow and almost KO him.So if you say this will be easy for cotto:lol: why everyone here cant wait for this fight.:D

And you should give this guy his respect cause he has been fighting guy's big risk low reward and not to mention any name's but now these day's fighter's wont do that.

Because Cotto has balls and ducks no one.. Cotto is gonna' outbox Margo to death and please people.. Stop bringing up this "he got rocked by Torres & Corley" ****.. That was at 140 and now he's at 147 and is a beast.. I pretty much see Cotto schooling Margo like Clottey was doing in the first half of their fight, except Cotto will do it until the fights over..

I don't know who is going to win and I don't really care. I am just a boxing fan who likes to watch boxing.

I said that what you said has nothing to do with the fight because Williams is totally different than Cotto, different style, taller, southpaw, etc, etc, etc. basically your comparison is meaningless.

Regarding Margarito's opposition, the same thing....style makes fights, so this is irrelevant.

Cotto might destroy Margo on Jul-26, but your comments have nothing to do with that.

In other words we might agree with the result but your analysis is totally flawed.

I wasn't analysing the fight though i already gave my analysis about how Cotto will sicken him with body punches and stop him late, i was just picking the glaringly obvious holes in Tonys record and whole career and doubtful if his power will help him at the very top level whilst Cottos has been proven.

I definitely agree with you here. Margarito is the challenger and has the hunger to take advantage of this opportunity. But don't make any mistake. Cotto is the champion and has the hunger to defend his title and solidify his status as one of the best P4P fighter in the sport. He has everything to lose in this fight. As determined Margarito is to take the title, Cotto will be as resolute to keep it.

Simple....he's a pro boxer who's confiodent in his abilities. All these crybabies who bring up rick vs. reward are essentially saying they aren't sure they can win, and want to be compensated more for their time. Dispicable...
