Why wouldn't Top Rank hire a biased broadcast crew?

So Bob Arum's above the same stuff?

It was a Top Rank show, Bob Arum was the resident 'Don' I'll repeat, A Top Rank Show, not an IBC event. (You do know what the IBC was don't you? Just google it. :blood)

Arum's bought judges before, every promoter has; and their pockets are lined by naive men like yourself

This is the same Bob Arum who admitted using bribes to boost his fighters rankings within organisations? But buying off a judge or two? Noooo that'd be imoral. :verysad

    this is where i agree.

but again, don't make this as he definitely did it on this fight and he does it all the time and he's the only one that does it or could do it.

I've never said that. The part you highlighted on my previous post proves that. ALL promoters have bought Judges, it's a sad part of Boxing.
If you saw the Rios - Abril fight would you atleast agree, that if we were looking for situations were judges may of been influenced by a promoter, then that is a prime candidate?

Adele Byrd had it something like 118 - 110 for Abril.
The other two had close to 115 - 113 score lines for Rios.

Personally, I had £300 on Rios to win so I was delighted with the screw job, but on my card; It was 9 - 3 Abril.

Hes not the only one, goldenboy obviously will aswell

But rios could and will potentially make a lot of money for top rank,
and word would never come out (if bribed), as the judges wouldnt want to tar their image with corruption and risk loosing out on jobs on other fights.

The orgs are corrupt organizations and that is the way they operate. They are there to make money but they aren't covered by law as far as I know. If Top Rank were to get caught paying a judge they would face serious legal problems and be out of business because their license would be revoked in just about all jurisdictions. All boxing commissions are state controlled in the USA. You do know that the boxing commissions appoint the officials for a fight don't you? Arum/Top Rank/Oscar/Golden Boy are at their mercy there.

Again, the announcing crew, which we know Top Rank DID PAY didn't even come close to toeing the line for this fight. The publicity and public perception of the bout is actually more important.

Yeah. The public perception is much more important to a promoter selling fights than the actual outcome. Top Rank could easily have put pressure on the broadcast crew or simply hired one that they knew would favor the home boy if losing to keep the market credibility up. They would have been screaming that Abril held more than Kahn and should have a point taken every round.

Tell me who do you think houses the judges and pays for their expenses.

Think about it this way buffoon, did the koreans choose the judges for the Roy Jones gold medal bout or did they just wine and dine the guys who were chosen?

Tell me does this sucking off of Arum provide you wih enough money to put your kids through college or simply your bar tab?

We have to give him some leniency. Arum could be paying him a pretty penny.

Your problem is you don't think, read or comprehend. The state commission is responsible for the judges and ref. If any promoter got caught trying to influence a ref they would be out of business. You really think Top Rank would risk that EVERY fight? I guess he forgot to pay them for the Pavlik/Martinez fight.
