Why wouldn't Top Rank hire a biased broadcast crew?

I was quite surprised that the commentary team were so neutral.Steve Bunce used to promote himself as "British Boxing's straightest talker" but he's an absolute disgrace the way he brown noses Fwank on Boxnation.
He's always been bad for it,he even said Audley was the future of heavyweight boxing when he was a *****..erm...pundit on the BBC.
Was refreshing to see such unbiased commentary the other night.

This was really just kind of a troll thread. I wanted to see what kind of 'reasons' people would invent to bend things to their predisposed view point. The media presentation is of more value to Arum than the score cards yet he didn't seem to try and influence them. I would have at the very least expected Raul Marquez to try and point out more of what Rios was doing if the team had an agenda.

I am in no way saying that Arum did or didn't buy judges. I simply have no way of knowing. I'm simply pointing out he had a severe lapse of judgement in forgetting to buy bias from the broadcast team. Also the casinos and mobsters could have been involved. Or, heaven forbid, the judges at ringside saw a different fight because they could hear the punches and see the effect? There is a reason that they sit quite literally at ringside. They gave Rios points for making the fight and landing inside? He was landing with his inside work? Did they penalize Abril for not coming to fight? Could be. That is what the casinos would want them to do because they NEVER want to see Abril in their venue again.

so youre comparing a ****ing communist/type country of judges from the 88 olympics to 2012 u.s. citizens?...:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl to people who might take a bribe once in a while rather than "pick our guy or your family dies" . oh nice one.

because you "say so" right? find one piece of dirt on this ****ing guy doing that? all these years...no dirt? no wire tap, no paper evidence, no recording of a unknown improper command?

just ignorant.... niciest guy on the planet and the worst have quite a distance between them......he is prob in the middle

By the time I started writing my post I had an idea of what the thread was about. But I was genuinely pleased to see such honest analysis, but that's probably because I'm so sick of Boxnation and I was surprised at Top Rank's commentary being so candid.

You're trying to explain and reason something to a bunch of dumb kids who prefer to just jump to conclusions. That's ESB today...

Yeah, sadly. These idiots think that enough of them agree then it must be the truth. Long, but good story short, I had a math professor once say, "This is math, you don't get to vote on the answers." :rofl
