I understand where your coming from, but I still gotta lean towards Williams in this fight. However if Winky wins I would not be shocked, thats why I'm not putting money on this fight.
Like I keep saying, it all depends on whether Winky comes in rested, or, rusted. Paul's low guard and less than stellar head movement makes him a sitting duck for a good jab, and this is, after all, Winky Wright.
I think Winky should have taken a tune up.... I think style wise this fight favors Willy becuz of his high work rate and long reach P Dub by UD
I;m still undecided about this fight. I need to see what kind of shape Winky is in before I make my pick.
Winky can cause the upset. Williams might be taller, faster and more active but Winky is the bigger man with the better defense and better footwork. IMO Williams wins by 2 points
I think walk was taking the **** there. Same as everyone else I think, it all depends on what the inactivity as done to Wright. Though I am still going for Winky close UD.
You don't know to much about the sport do you? You should learn to post some facts and become a better poster cuz I have seen ur posts and you don't know very much about the sport!:deal Paul UD...Your gonna be a hater if Paul wins and say Winky was shot and all this bull**** when u know damn well he ain't a shot fighter!
Thats what makes this fight so great - everybody has a different opinion. Its a really open fight. No one knows how its gonna go.
I agree. I think it's worth pointing out that Wright will be coming DOWN in weight as well, another factor not often discussed. His last fight was at 170 against Hopkins. Combine that with age and two years of inactivity and you can see where Willianms' supporters are coming from. Williams is also hot right now as a fighter with KO wins in 3 straight fights. He's developed a better body work game and is showing tremendous power nowadays. One of the more overlooked notions is that Wright has shown fading tendencies against Taylor and Hopkins. Wright CAN pull off the upset if he uses his defensive prowess to stymie Williams early and then uses his superior accuracy to deliver sharp punches behind Williams' all too lazy flicking jab. Williams is slow bringing his hands back after letting go so if Wright covers up, blocks a cobmination and then comes in to rip away on Paul before he gets reset, Williams will get beaten. I don't think he can do it often enough to win a decision and I don't see Paul getting KO'd. I favor Williams on this one.
Yeah and that clown once told me that he marched with Dr. King in the 60's, and that he fought for civil rights...NO **** he really told me that:huh
