There was a reason why he did this i came across it a while back, i think he did that because the guy who he just knocked out had beaten Morales' brother and done the same thing to him, or something like that
It is too bad Morales got old....he kicked Pacquiaos ass in their first fight and exposed him........then he got old. If he hadn't gotten old when he did, we would never have heard of Manny Pacquiao, the over rated south paw scourge who plagues boxing today.
I don't know how you could like one, and not the other. They have a lot more similarities than differences. Erik talked a TON of **** before the first fight with MAB, and Marco had a serious grudge against him until he felt he settled it in the ring. With Erik, it's never settled. re the marketing, that's just the way their personalities dictated things had to be. Erik was an up front and obvious badass, you knew just from the way he talked and carried himself that he was a fighter and you had to mind your manners around him. Marco had this pleasant, gentleman-like facade, but inside he was probably even more vicious and aggressive than Erik, kinda like an SRL, a killer with a babyface.
Pac isn't overrated. It's just a shame that Naz retired, JMM couldn't get in the mix and Pac came a little too late. Can you imagine what it would have been like if all five of those guys had been rampaging thru the FW division at once?
Nah I like them both (and Marquez) I just think Morales got a crappy press back in the day in regards to his feuds with MAB
Yea, I remember this. El Terrible did this because there was bad blood with the opponent and the dude knocked out his bro so he returned the favor. He took a picture like the guy was a buck or a trophy he just hunted.
probably my favorite fighter of the 2000's. always the first opponent that springs to mind when imagining 'what if' match up scenarios between the sport's finest over the years.... top gadgy!
