Alot of people judge Hatton on those fights because those are his most recent fights, and his best opponents. I don't care how he looked, against an old Vince Philips or Ben Takie. WHat matters is how he looks against world class opponents not 2nd and 3rd tier opponents. Hatton's stamina is the probably among the top 5 best in the game, along with PBF, JUan Diaz, and Pacquiao. PBF is just at his absolute prime now, and has little to no weaknesses. PBF by wide decision, possibly even late round stoppage.

Hey man, I read everything I can get my hands lol. A good story is a good story.

I read the encyclopedia's when I was a kid (course I was grounded and they were the only thing in my room besides my bed...nothing else to do).

OK....so it sounds more pathetic when you see it on screen. But I am who I am :hat

In THIS thread so far all the Mayweather supporters have all made good and reasoned arguments. Unfortunately this isn't always the case and MANY less intelligent and less knowledgable Mayweather fans have simply embarrassed themselves and HAVE based their assessment of Hatton mainly on the Collazo fight

This is an unfortunate truth. But they aren't all from the US believe me.

But I am not really a fan of PBF. I watch him because he is good. Same reason I watch the Patriots every time they are on TV.

No it was just funny to hear.....

"I know exactly this British guy meant, I read Harry Potter."

    :D

They are good stories tho (tho admittingly I havent read them all). I also read just about everything I get my hands on. Just finished Deception Point by Dan Brown (the Da Vinci Code guy)....great book.

I'm glad to see you're so passionate about your fighter. After he gets his ass beat, feel free to make excuses. Here are couple that you may find helpful; "Ricky is not a true WW", "The Decision was bull****, Ricky was the agressor", "The ref shouldn't have stopped that fight, Ricky still had some vision out of his left eye", "The ref didn't let Ricky fight his fight(translation, he wouldn't let him hold all night)". I hope these help.

PMSL 'you lot' are funny for yanks :yep

    some points fairly well made

all i ask people is no ecxuses in defeat and full credit to hatton when he beats pbf - yeah?

btw, i will not be dissapearing after dec 8th because i can accept being wrong (though thats never happened before :yep )

i'm not just an hatton freak, there are many more fighters i appreciate, it just happens that this happened to be my first post so stop picking on the new lad lol.

    lovl

there won't be any excuses from this side of the pond mate. everyone knows that floyd will have every advantage in the book going into this fight

    fighting in his backyard
will have a ref stopping any roughing up
fighting at the weight pbf wanted
    ring size
    gloves

when ricky wins, pbf will be crying for a rematch and then the roles will hopefully be reversed when he comes to manchester for the rematch in june.

the good news is that dancing with stars starts in june over here so he has plenty of time to find a new partner ;)

Let me just correct you for a minute. PBF never lost to Castillo. Just because people look for PBF to lose they look for his closest fight. Did you even watch the fight??????? Alot of people didnt and just go on what other people say. He won clearly just a alot closer than everyone of his other fights.

    PS...I hate PBF
He just never lost so why lie to yourself
    Go Hatton

This is not exclusive to hatton. People on these boards always judge fighters by their worse performances. According to everyone here, Cotto has a china chin although he has never been KO'd was only down once (had to be pushed down to make it happen) and Ko'd any opponent that ever got cocky enough to try to land a good shot on him.

of course i watched the fight, and yes pbf won the fight but seriously that was some of the worst judging i have ever seen, i scored it castillo by 3pts and to put the record straight i aint a pbf hater and as i said above i don't think he should be judged on that fight because of injury and also due to the fact that he definitely won the castillo rematch.
