Joshua has gained ten fights or even a whole careers worth of experience from that one fight. He came through it, he came from behind...and he will be better for it. Of course he will. But he would already be half way where that fight took him had he already fought a ten rounder and more guys who can hit him back.

That fight was so close to going the other way. It did not need to be.

Brook demanded it.and he has earned more respect, money and pulling power thru it.he was branded as someone who had never fought anyone,in reality no one wanted to fight him and with good reason.
Hes just transformed bellews life and make him filthy rich in a fight no one gave him a chance with but gets no credit.he has created champion after champion and gets little credit.
His moto is spot on,if your good enough orove yourself, its a breath of fresh air from the likes of khan, wilder, floyd, canello, most al haymon fighters etc.
Some people just have to moan.
If he'd fought and beat the next available fighter it'd have been called a duck

Sr has basically admitted in an interview it was his fault Jr didn't sing for that fight with Golovkin.

You need to stop trying to circulate that myth, Jr, Sr and Team Eubank has nearly a month to sign a contract and didn't.. they can't blame anybody else but themselves.

I think it was smart, long sighted, and very well thought out.

I think it was the opposite. Sheer luck bailed him out

Wow, you think AJ won due to 'sheer luck'? What an absolute ****** you are.

Probably a minimum wage bum who feels everyone who does well in life only does so due to luck.

He seems like a decent bloke but let's not pretend that he doesn't love himself. He does hour long interviews with Kugan where about 40 minutes of them are spent discussing matters unrelated to boxing.

Rubbish he was just trying to be the bigger man, Hearn like it or not has some of the biggest names in the 168 division on his roster. Sr will have to deal with Hearn so he's letting water under the bridge, no point in dwelling on it now, Jr has to get on with his career.

No, I made it clear on every post on this matter that A.J was a good prospect who deserved to be groomed in a way that better prepared him for that kind of fight. Charles Martin, Eric Molina FFS!

I think Hearn was bailed out by sheer luck that the kid was able to show something nobody could have predicted he had. He got up off the floor to win something George Foreman, Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis never could do. So Hearn lucked out. He had a kid that had within him an ability that bailed Hearn out. Hearn deserved egg on his face for throwing A.J into a fight like that with a 18 fight run, hand picked, padded record.

And for your information I don't think everyone who does well in life got lucky. I certainly worked for my success. Has Hearn?

Of course Hearn has worked hard, anyone who disagrees is clearly envious.

Hearn threw him into this fight? Why does everyone assume this? If AJ said no, the fight wouldn't have happened. If Rob said no, the fight wouldn't have happened.

Who AJ fights isn't Hearns decision alone, it's everyone's decision whose involved and everyone involved agreed on this fight.

You simply cannot blame Hearn for wanting to make the biggest fight in British boxing history, and again, to say he lucked out is pure idiocy.

Hearn rolled the dice and it paid off for him that Joshua was a good kid. You can't tell me he knew all along Josh could survive knockdowns when he had never been knocked down before or that the pitiful opponents he had until them prepared him for that win.

If it went wrong it could have been career suicide all round. He got away with it, came out smelling of roses because AJ saved his bacon.

What's it to you anyway? Are you Eddies P.A or something lol

Actually thought it was harsh on hearn saturday nite. He basically is delivering. Putting on fights the fight fans want to see. Tbf i think its incredible people criticise him for living off his dad or claiming hes not worked hard for it. You ll struggle to find a harder worker than eddie. He cant help that he was born rich but all credit to him he rolled up his sleeves and put the work in cause it would be a lot easier to do what a lot of rich peoples sons/daughters end up doing just sponging off them.

Tbf i ve criticised eddie as much as anyone...as a fight promoter in the public eye...its the nature of the beast. But times like saturday...after putting on a show like that...everyone came away enjoying that...even klitchko fans. Plus put his cash cow up for the big fight a lot of people said he was protecting. Its time to give the man credit. No one should be constantly criticised. When your good your good when your bad your bad...its pretty much as simple as that. Eddie pulled off a terrific show on saturday...he deserves credit for it. Not just the aj v klitchko fight but the whole production etc...was top notch.

It's actually a good thing that some risks are taken. It's boring when every prospect is given the exact same path. Tyson pretty much had a similar record when he was put in for the title.
