From what I saw, Hearn was the only one of Joshua's team who was adamant he was taking the Wlad fight too early... think if Hearn had his way Joshua would have fought a few more Eric Molinas...

As for why he was booed, I'm starting to realise the Stubhub link played a big part after reading lots of different comments on Facebook and Twitter.

'Casuals' might not know as much about boxing as some of you guys on here. But enough of them have watched quite a few AJ fights now. And every single person who has googled 'Anthony Joshua tickets' has seen Stubhub as one of the first hits. They've clicked Stubhub and immediately been presented with a venue map and tickets that are very clearly 4, 5 6 times face value and more, looking to completely fleece them. They've then seen Eddie Hearn actively promote and advertise Stubhub.

You don't need to know much about boxing to tell that there's something very wrong going on there...

Tyson at least had three good competitive ten round fights under his belt. Mitch Green, Quick Tillis and the last round stoppage over Jose Ribalta.

match making 101: make sure the kid can do the distance.

Well that kind of safety first bollocks is one reason boxing had become boring to many. So I'm quite happy with this, as a fan.

Very harsh to describe Joshua's resume up to Klitschko "padded" & "hand picked" in my opinion. Sure, he wasn't doing a Lomachenko, but Whyte and Breazeale were tough tests and Martin had the IBF title. Considering he was 18 fights into his career I think his level of competition was fine. Look up Wilder, Deontay for hand picked, padded records - and thats after 30 odd fights.

The Klitschko fight had to happen now because of Wladimir's age. Joshua probably could have benefited from a more gradual step up first (Pulev?) but was ready regardless and after the contest we were treated to I am grateful Hearn/Joshua felt that way, he who dares….wins!
