with all the people he's brought aboard or helped at Wild Card? Now it's Ariza, but the list includes Koncz, Moorer 'n Fortune
There can only be one king in the Gym and Freddie may come across quite humble , but nobody plays with his ego. Ariza is a big mouth who needed to be taught a lesson.
Sorry John , I dont know who they are? Are they part of the Roach team? I could check google , but that would mean I would be talking about people I dont know and would be making things up.
Erick's a long-time trainer at WC,'n Ernie, who was a damn good southpaw welter Freddie trained, is now his assistant. Not only is he a terrific trainer, but he has a great disposition.
Fortune had a fall-out with Roach regarding money. When Oscar took Freddie for his fight against Floyd, Manny was left to train with Fortune. Manny won against Jorge Solis. After the fight, Fortune demanded more money as he was technically the head trainer that time. Roach said no and asked him to pack his bags.
ariza never "left" manny - he asked to go back to the states 4-5 days early to help kick start chavez training camp. . . roach and ariza dont have to get along, it's ariza and manny, and manny and ariza - only dynamics that matter.
I missed this whole Ariza story, would someone give me the short version? What happened? And also what happened with Koncz, did he have some falling out with Freddie/Manny, too?!
'I'm the best trainer in the world' Ariza. Maybe Freddy found his ego too much, he also claimed to be doing some of Freddy's work in the corner and said Freddy's condition stopped him doing certain thing. Too big for his boots? Then there's the stigma of PEDs rightly or wrongly associated with him
