1. Lost via brutal 7th round KO to prospect AJ in Britain but exposed AJ’s suspect chin and gas tank 2. Lackadaisical win over 10 against short notice journeyman Dave Allen in Britain 3. Highly controversial 12 round win over warhorse fringe contender Chisora in Britain 4. Lackadaisical win over 12 against short notice unmotivated fringe contender Helenius in Britain 5. 6th round KO over a 39 year old, out of shape, always chinny (even in his roided prime) shot, former sub-fringe contender Lucas Browne in Britain, who had been KO’d by Chisora 10 days prior in sparring and was apparently on psych meds 6. Ducks Pulev in Bulgaria in a final eliminator and gets a highly controversial 12 round win over fringe contender Parker via headbutt KD in Britain, gets knocked down and almost finished in the 12th 7. Displayed cowardice and cynicism by calling out a 38 year old, shot to bits David Haye 6 months on from back to back KO defeats to former light heavyweight contender Tony Bellew 8. Highly controversial 11th round come from behind KO win over warhorse fringe contender Chisora in Britain 9. Turned down a rematch with the then unified belt holder AJ on the grounds that the several million pounds offered were not sufficient but in doing so proved he lacked confidence that he could defeat AJ and become a belt holder himself. Shortly after, AJ got beaten up, dropped 4 times and quit against the very stubby, morbidly obese, late sub fringe contender and non-puncher Andy Ruiz 10. Highly competitive 12 round win over bridgerweight Rivas in Britain after failing a drug test and changing his gloves last minute, gets knocked down heavily in the 9th 11. Lost several rounds over 10 while out of shape against short notice 40 year old warhorse sub-fringe contender Wach in Saudi 12. Lost via brutal 5th round KO to 41 year old, shot, badly hurt Povetkin in Britain 13. “Avenged” his loss with a 4th round TKO over a 41.5 year old, shot to bits, medically unhealthy ghost of Povetkin in British outpost Gibraltar, once again revealed his vile and cowardly nature by expressing interest in a Povetkin trilogy after the “fight” 14. Went on to call out Jermaine “10 rounds with Pavel Sour” Franklin and 40.5 year old semi-retired Arreola (considered finished when Wilder schooled and stopped him with torn biceps and a broken right hand 5 years prior) coming off back to back defeats in 12 round wars, proving that Whyte had the utmost confidence in his skills and durability 15. Made an offer to southpaw contender Otto Wallin to fight in Britain (on the grounds that Wallin isn’t a noted puncher and was a prominent Fury opponent) and Wallin accepted but Whyte got cold feet after Usyk’s schooling of AJ in Britain, pulled out with a “shoulder injury” 10 days before the fight and cancelled it, once again proving that he’s a hypocrite, a coward and a hypejob 96 full rounds over 11 fights; lots of experience brawling with old men and fellow plodders but lots of wear and tear at 34+. Six KD’s scored, four received, three KO’s, 9 wins and 2 losses (both by KO) but could easily be 5-5, 1 NC, 2 KO’s, or even 3-5, 1 NC, 0 KO’s if Browne and Povetkin had been declared medically unfit to fight, as they should have been. His best uncontroversial wins are decisions over late substitutes Helenius, Wach and Allen. The bookies give him a 1/6 chance in a matchup against Fury, further supporting the self-evident fact that he is not a credible contender. Homage to the cadaver snatcher: This content is protected
Writing an essay isn't very simplified is it? You know you're reaching when you have to include things like "lost several rounds", or calling a clean KO "highly controversial".
"Simple", in a complex sport like boxing, can only come from a simple mind who lacks the brain power to accept the dynamics. I'd sooner expect a 7yo to explain combustible engines before taking anything the TS says seriously.
Thank heavens he's just spited at other heavies , Sugar Ray Leonard's resume would've never withstood such thorough dissection and simplification.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that he claimed Bryant Jennings is faster than Joseph Parker and claimed Wilder is an ATG
I'm more interested in HW boxing than non-HW boxing and am less interested in long retired fighters than modern and active fighters. Any resume can be critiqued in this way but losing close to a naturally smaller Duran or getting controversial verdicts against Hagler or Hearns isn't nearly as bad in relative terms as getting sparked by a shot Povetkin or getting controversial decisions against Chisora or Parker.
Chisora 1 - I had Whyte winning comfortably on points in a very good fight. Helenius - Whyte wins every round in a poor fight as Helenius was on the run all night and didn't want to engage. Browne - Whyte batters and brutally KOs the at the time very overrated fighter (who is useless but about 25% of this forum predicted he would win). Parker - even ignoring the KD that shouldn't of stood, I had Whyte derservedly winning despite the late scare and Ehyte holding on for dear life in the end. If theybdo rematch I belive Parker would win. Chisora - judges were on the way to Rob Whyte who had fan favourite Chisora wrongly ahead on the scorecard but Whyte kept it from happening by brutally KOing the durable Chisora. Rivas - Apart from round 9 where Rivas dropped Whyte and round 12, I had Wjyte winning every other round. Whyte displayed an excellent jab, double ja and went to body effectively. Wach - Whyte comes in out of shape looking poor, winning but in a close and very poor fight. Povetkin - Whyte in total control at the start and drops Povetkin twice but gets caught by a great uppercut and knocked out cold. Losses to another top 5 HW. Povetkin 2 - Whyte dominates and get his revenge. Best resume in terms of depth of quality in the divison behind AJ. Also one the most entertaining HWs always in entertaining fights.
Even with the BS KD, Parker still won that match and was robbed. 115-113 is the only feasible card for Whyte against Chisora the first time around, there was nothing comfortable about it. Not sure what you were watching either of those matches. You're usually pretty sharp, but you couldn't be more off on both counts.
What would I need to do to make it happen? Committing to RBR scoring more often? Send you the finest beef Mexico has to offer? Herbal tea? You let me know...
I agree, he's a complete and total shill and I say that is someone who actually likes Wilder. But, at least he's stirring up some debate, and.... the heavyweight division is pretty objectively awful. That being said, the Michael Hunter thread pissed me off. If he does one on Usyk, that might do the trick.
I'm not a shill for any one fighter. I enjoy defending Wilder because the narrative is so skewed and he arouses very intense emotions from boxing fans. If I made a thread on Usyk praising his excellent resume it would be redundant; anyone with any intelligence knows he has great wins. If I made a thread on Usyk I'd do something more controversial, like make the case that his cruiser record is vastly better than Holyfield's, which it obviously is.
