Both higher than normal. I was picking Browne to out box and KO Whyte but now not so sure Browne can sustain the work rate to win. Whyte might just out work him now to win a decision.
Browne has fought in the 260's, 270's throughout his career, that is his shape . Whyte is at the second highest weight of his career. I don't think either of these guys are planning on going 12 rounds.
Whtye is a fat disgrace. Hope Browne creams him. If he does Hearn has one less excuse to avoid Wilder.
Different fight dynamics. What was Browne for that fight, 250-255? His plan in that fight was against a short very skilled Southpaw boxer, thus lots of movement and work from the outside. Browne will be looking to control the centre of the ring vs Whyte, 265 is about right.
O dear..two big ol bags of crap on the scales. The overweight division. You would think a medical checkup ought to bar you from fighting if found to be at >25% bodyfat. smfh
Listen Browne was in decent shape visually. For a natural heavyweight in the 260s he’s never going to be that lean at his age and he certainly wasn’t as fat as people here make out.
Was actually much more surprised at Whyte coming in at 254. 265 is about standard for a man the size of Browne.
Indeed so. 265 is not high for Browne, he's in about as decent shape as could be expected. The real surprise is Whyte's weight - is he concerned by Big Daddy's power and strength?
This. Is it too much for these guys to show up in shape. Most of the heavyweights showing up as tubs of lard that gas after 3-4 rounds is why most modern heavyweight fights are unwatchable.
