    "Why go to Bulgaria?"
"Low payout, zero exposure, viewed only in Bulgarian yurt-O-vision".

A Bulgarian has just won a purse bid against an American.

That would be depressing. We could be looking at the worst final eliminator in years.

That was too obvious,Miller turned it down once already,IBF are turds and wasting time.Hughie wont accept the fight either but lets go through another bid then.

Maybe Pulev and Povetkin will finally get it on if Joshua beats him. Back in the day when they were both Sauerland fighters, they were meant to be matched up eventually.

Or Pulev can try to wait till Joshua has cleaned out the opposition and needs a credible opponent. Which could actually happen as early as 2019.

Let's hope the Joshua era isn't like the Klitschko era where the contenders ducked each other while lining up for the title shot payday.

Whyte, Miller, Hughie "I aint even going to New Zealand let alone Bulgaria" Fury, this is a pretty good strong arm negotiating tactic from Miller, he knows full well no one worth a damn is going to Bulgaria. All 3 of these guys will fight Joshua in the future regardless, why bother? Look what happened to Oquendo and Lucas Browne in Chechnya, its all the same to these guys, Pulev needs to wake up to himself and fight in New York. Bulgaria fights are for journeyman paydays, heavyweight eliminators need to be in either new york, london or vegas for anyone to watch or give a damn, no ones going to Bulgaria into obscurity to get hustled and robbed whilst their at the top of the heavyweight division.

Yep there were rumours of Pulev/Miller back in March I think but they quickly died when Miller showed no interest as at the time Miller was being seen as a possible Joshua opponent for his US debut.

By the time the IBF find an opponent for Pulev to fight in Bulgaria, Joshua will be long retired and probably a grandfather lol. This is quickly getting embarrassing for the IBF.

Pulev is an inexplicably overhyped can crushing ducker. His reluctance to take th Joshua payday and fade into obscurity should of been the final straw with the IBF but they seem intent on ranking him.

The scoring for Pulev fights over there has been odd. If the knockout is unlikely then it's a dodgy proposition, nobody wants to deal with 3rd world corruption like that if they can help it.

Thank you, I suspected there must be a concern given the reluctance of successive boxers to head there.

Pulev has fought twice in Bulgaria..

A clear UD in a keep busy against Johnson......
    And Peter retiring.....

Please don't fall into the ignorant American stereotype like @Blackclouds has.

I'm British mate and under no illusions about the fairness of judging both here and across the pond. Just trying to work out just why they're all so reluctant to face Pulev in his backyard.

    American fighters don't travel.

It's almost as if it is seen as being 'beneath' them.

Whyte facing Parker will keep him in the IBF/WBA/WBC mix......Whilst earning really good money.

Why Miller isn't willing to travel is inexcusable.....
