Nothing to do with boxing but I've been to Bulgaria twice with work. Without doubt the unfriendliest people I've come across. Their food is also an awful version of Greek food - which I couldn't really get my head around as Greek food is delicious. And their beer is awful too. It's borderline undrinkable.

Recent news here in Bulgaria is that the fight is likely to happen!!!! And i do not see why not. Miller is now really short of options. It is not about the money he would get by facing Kubrat in Bulgaria. It is the IBF mandatory that would guarantee him the biggest possible payday, and if he has to come here to get it he would be happy to do so. No way he wins though! When we talk styles i think Miller would eat Pulev's jab throughout. He is ideal for Pulevs boxing style and is not the huge puncher that would normally cause trouble. His only chance is i think the ring rust of Pulev. In his last fight against Kevin Johnson over a year ago he won decisively but did not look as sharp as he used to. I hope it happens, because it would be a crowd pleaser for sure :) Cheers

I actually don't blame him, he won't get a fair shake over there, it's a bit of a gamble and he is close to a world title shot anyway.

Hearn has promised him an AJ fight a couple of times so why risk getting stiffed and shuffled back in the pack.

I worked with a Bulgarian man quite a few years ago and he was the rudest, unsociable, barely spoke, without doubt the most miserable git I've ever had to work with, completely void of any social skills.

I thought it was just him but since then quite a few people have had nothing nice to say about Bulgarians and Bulgaria.

I'm sure they can't be all bad but it don't look like I'll book a mini break there any time soon.

If there are any Bulgarians on here I do apologise, it's nothing personal to you, your family or country, just an experience I had and things I've heard.

Too scared? Then how come Whyte decided to fight Joseph Parker? Parker is younger, faster, hits harder and will have learnt so darn much from the Joshua fight.

It was more a case of avoiding a complete and utter SNOOZEFEST of a fight. Therefore it was either Ortiz or Parker.

There'd have been deaths from overly long sleeping by viewers of this fight. People would have fallen asleep and been trapped, stuck in a dream that is so much more intriguing than this garbage.

And Miller vs Pulev, please god...don't even go there. Miller's technique is worse than Conor McGregor's and he'd be found out against an old, walking stick Pulev.

Outrageous that a country responsible for this sad state of affairs can lay claim to hosting a high-profile professional boxing match.

    Our sport deserves better.

This sum’s it up perfectly how ridiculous it was for miller to turn down that fight.

I guess Miller wants the winner of Charr/Oquendo. But aside from a belt beating either of those two does less to enhance his already weak marketability than beating Pulev in his backyard.
