If people buy the fight and it does well like recently then it’s a PPV fight. People could complain and say beer shouldn’t be a fiver a pint, but if people buy it then that’s what it’s price is. Had this debate with several people who aren’t getting it. I’m personally buying neither as I’m out but if I was home I would have a choice to buy or decide it wasn’t worth it.
Yeah it was really. He kicks up a fuss as to why it had to be tonight but im not having it Frampton on PPV is a big enough fight in the UK to make you consider other dates and seeing as they got their 1st its up to Eddie to get something else agreed. I know its Warren that got that rule tore up about sharing a date but he didnt do it so 2 PPV's could compete. And to be honest i dont see how anybody wins here. Hearns numbers take a hit, Warrens numbers take a hit, so the Boxers take a hit and we take a hit cuz wed love to be able to watch both fights live. Who wins there? Only purpose it will serve at all is for the promoter who does the bigger numbers for bragging purposes. I cant say im impressed at all really.
Tbh I thought Eddie Hearn was doing good for boxing and with what he has done in America as opened up that market aswell but I like frank warren and he has also got some good boxers coming through. Eddie just seems to be bothered about his Jesus Christ in his whiter than white robe . Can’t stand all this AJ and his adoring Wembley stadium disciples.
