That's right, but the boxers also have a part to play in making a fight a success. In the slightly larger fights, it is part of the contract that the boxers sign.
Maybe. However, I have heard that the relationship between Eddie Hearn and AJ is not good right now. AJ should never have signed that "lifelong contract" with Matchroom.
I'd like to know more about this, what are the rumours? As for Whyte, he should have at least another drug ban on his rap sheet, people complaining about him being done over for not getting another few million on top of the many millions he is getting are having a laugh. Just how many Bentleys does one man need?
I can not comment on that. Unfortunately. I wonder if AJ has registered how Arum / Warren plays with Eddie Hearn ?
He does deserve a beat down. Crying constantly for years about deserving a shot at a title. Finally gets his chance at a heavyweight world title, and is crying he is only going to earn a potential 8 million pounds if he wins, a 10 x higher purse than his previous fight? Whyte isn't a big draw, he doesn't have a world title, why should he be earning any more for the fight, am I missing something? If he is confident in his own ability, he knows he will earn more if he wins. But he is a plodder who will get a beat down, so wants a payoff.
Not my actual point but learn some respect son, names like Seferi, Pianeta, Shwarz and Wallin have all challenged for that prestigious crown within the last few years.
He has untill the 21st to sign the contract. At the moment, I'm not too sure that he will. Terrible career move from Whyte.
Disagree. I think Whyte comes as likeable. whyte is actually very funny and whitty (e.g. his interviews with Kugs and Chisora gloves off). Also comes across quite straight talking and down to earth compared to other boxers. I also consider Bellew and both Benns as to being likable. I mean compare that to Wilder who stated he wants body on his record, delusional comments of grandeur, constantly avoiding top fighters to fight hand picked poor opposition. Fury: - Homophbic and sexiest comments - Reportedly lied about given his entire purse to charity. - Constantly contradicts himself with his comments. - The hating the British and stating that the British boxing fans don't deserve him and and that he would never box in the UK again. - Seems very insecure and desperate to liked. - Desperate to be found funny but awkwardly comes across as David Brent like when attempts to be funny.
Good post. I hope Dillian finds his pen though. I don't see another option for him that is remotely decent, financially speaking, other than this one. You can't do that to Wallin, then turn down Tyson, and try and get a multi million payday some place else. I truly believe that Whyte has maximised his earnings that don't involve fights with the top 4. So he has to or his career is over.
Fury: - Homophbic and sexiest comments -- He's a god fearing man, only going on what the Bible says. Don't act like you've never once said anything homophobic - Reportedly lied about given his entire purse to charity. -- No proof he did, no proof he didn't - Constantly contradicts himself with his comments -- Just like every other fighter - The hating the British and stating that the British boxing fans don't deserve him and and that he would never box in the UK again -- I don't blame him tbh. The way he was treated after the Wlad win was disgusting - Seems very insecure and desperate to liked -- You've made 2 comments about how he bashed gays and and British boxing fans, it's clear he don't give a **** who likes him or not - Desperate to be found funny but awkwardly comes across as Mark Brent like when attempts to be funny -- Don't know who Mark Brent is, David Brent on the other hand is hilarious
