He does deserve a beat down. Crying constantly for years about deserving a shot at a title. Finally gets his chance at a heavyweight world title, and is crying he is only going to earn a potential 8 million pounds if he wins, a 10 x higher purse than his previous fight?

Whyte isn't a big draw, he doesn't have a world title, why should he be earning any more for the fight, am I missing something? If he is confident in his own ability, he knows he will earn more if he wins. But he is a plodder who will get a beat down, so wants a payoff.

 

Not my actual point but learn some respect son, names like Seferi, Pianeta, Shwarz and Wallin have all challenged for that prestigious crown within the last few years.

Disagree. I think Whyte comes as likeable. whyte is actually very funny and whitty (e.g. his interviews with Kugs and Chisora gloves off). Also comes across quite straight talking and down to earth compared to other boxers.
I also consider Bellew and both Benns as to being likable.

I mean compare that to Wilder who stated he wants body on his record, delusional comments of grandeur, constantly avoiding top fighters to fight hand picked poor opposition.

I hope Dillian finds his pen though. I don't see another option for him that is remotely decent, financially speaking, other than this one. You can't do that to Wallin, then turn down Tyson, and try and get a multi million payday some place else.

I truly believe that Whyte has maximised his earnings that don't involve fights with the top 4. So he has to or his career is over.
