Anybody who finds Bellew likeable needs to seek help. On another note It’s pretty obvious whyte will sign, he has nowhere else to go. His already limited marketability will plummet if he refuses this fight after previously turning down Wallin. He will probably stay quiet and drag it out as long as possible whilst fury, arum and Warren rant in the press. If it was the other way round everyone on here would be praising fury saying “he’s his own man” etc and say he’s just playing mind games.
Is this you finally admitting that you ‘dislike’ Fury? I think Whyte comes across ok, amazed how anyone can like Bellew though. He’s guilty of lots of the things you accused Fury of. I thought Connor Benn was ok - then I saw a video analysing his body language and communication with his partner. Very clear that he’s incredibly controlling from that. Will try and dig it up.
Yeah, interesting wasn’t it. Saw him in a new light after that. Obviously it’s not an exact science and there’s loads of grifters out there like Believing Bruce.
You don't like Fury because he’s homophobic but you like Bellew who posed in front of a ‘Kenny Dalglish is a homosexual’ banner and wife got filmed during a homophobic rant after the Usyk defeat. You don’t like Fury because he contradicts himself – see comments above re your views on people being homophobic. You don’t like Wilder because he avoids top opposition – see Whyte’s antics when offered the Joshua and Fury fights. Matchroom could sign Ian Huntley and you'd say you liked him.
My goodness Mitch - you have had a nightmare here You appear to have missed off people you like including Adolf Hitler, Jimmy Saville plus Rod, Hull and Emu
Thing is Fury contradicts himeself because he is just talking consant rubbish and is a bit of a troll Bellew contradicts himself trying to be righteous.
I think the way this links up commercially is as follows: Promoters sign fighters. Promoters need events to be commercially successful. They commit to a purse for fighters, based on projected profit for an event. Fighters may (or may not) have contractual obligations to attend certain set piece promo events (conferences etc, journalist engagements etc). Over and above, unlikely to be contractual. However, should a fighter NOT elect to promote a fight, changes are promoters will not be so keen to work with or pay the fighter so much (or anything) in the future. So in the interest of fighters to be active in promotion.
