Whyte is a damn boss, he was killing Femi before he got injured. Even after he got injured he fought on valiantly.

FFS he was fighting Femi! one of the hardest hitters in the history of boxing. ATG Vitali Klitschko who is a living legend quit after getting injured vs a light hitting Chris Byrd!!!!!! Vitali is a tough sob, but Whyte is on another level of tough!!!!!

This is not a Vits bashing thread, this is a Whyte praising thread

The bloke is tough as nails and a man of his word. He has made me a big fan

I like Whyte but I'm pretty sure his injury isn't quite as bad a torn rotator cuff.

It was vs Femi, he was facing Byrd!
We don't know the full extent of either injury but Whyte definitely was in a lot discomfort. His best punch is the left hook, he had no chance without this weapon

a torn rotator cuff if further aggravated can cause loss of use of the arm. oh sure, we all know you would have continued on with a rotator cuff injury and been happy to let your arm just hang by your side as you sold pencils on the street corner. as it is however, even without your blessing, Vitali stopped fighting. He got an operation and returned to the ring and was eventually world champion WBC holder...nowhere near as great as standing on a corner selling pencils though.

Right, that's why you throw that in then... You could have made the point in that case without bringing up another other fighters

TBF when you consider how much of a legend Vits is, it just makes Whytes effort even more impressive that is the only reason I did it.

There doesn't seem to be much praising going on

It seems to me if you fight on you're just a faker and if you don't then you're a quitter pretty sad really. Injuries such as these is just bad timing and bad luck I suppose.
