Whyte has zero chance of dethroning the Gypsy King.

The uppercut Povetkin landed on Whyte would have killed a horse, an absolutely brutal shot. I think Fury will win but he is not this master boxer he is portrayed as, he beat wilder by running him over, he didn't look great against Wallin while boxing him, he may have been a master boxer 7 years ago, but since then has mostly resorted to using his size and strength to bulldoze, I think in close works into Whyte's hands and it could end up being a long hard night at the office.

    I agree with this

He looks in good shape, so if he doesn't bottle it, he will likely look pretty decent early, maybe even nicking a round or 2 with effective aggression.

By rounds 5 or 6 I expect fury to completely take over and force a stoppage by rounds 10 or 11. Or maybe he will coast to a unanimous decision? but I think he will want the stoppage fighting at home with such a huge crowd

Starting to get excited for it now!

Whytes left hook is the biggest punch in boxing

Whyte has taken huge hits against most of the fighters he has come up against.

The point is, he is there to be hit - his footwork is average at best.

If Fury stocks with what he's been seeming to, and goes southpaw like he did for Chisora, Whyte isn't winning. Not a chance. He just doesn't have the ability to cut off the ring like that, or set up the shots needed to get around a southpaw as good and big as Fury.

However, if he fights Whyte like he did Wilder, he puts himself in a very dangerous situation. Leaning on someone just as strong? Opening his fleshy body to a wicked left hook? Actively leaning into said left hook and consistently allowing Whyte to time him? The reality which Fury fans won't accept is that he did all of these things in his last fight and if Wilder had any semblance of actual skill, he'd have capitalised on them as well. He almost did anyway.

I think people will be shocked at how easily Fury dominates Whyte on Saturday. Whyte is the most overhyped boxer in the sport right now. If he wasn’t British, no one would rate him.

Whyte lasting all 12 rounds with Fury would be a miracle.

That could well be very true,Whyte going life and death with Chisora not once but twice and being gifted the result in the first fight and then being behind on points before landing the KO in the second fight is levels below Fury’s wins over a much fresher Chisora. Whyte will try and make this fight as rough and as foul filled as he can, probably even having points deducted,Fury on the other hand can make this fight as easy or as hard as he likes. Whyte only wins by stoppage,Fury wins by wide points, stoppage or the towel comes in from Whyte’s corner . Looking forward to the fight now just a pity Whyte has not taken his part in the build up to this fight as much as he could have done .

Sure, but that's a much fresher Fury, too.

Apples to oranges and all that...

Not saying I wouldn't heavily favour Fury (I do), but listening to some on here you'd think this fight was Fury-Wilder 4 and we already knew far more than we actually do - Whyte's not a generational talent, but he's a solid fighter with serious power and a much stronger resume than anyone Fury's been in with since his return... If anything, I'd tentatively suggest it more likely that it'll be surprising to a good few on here just how much this doesn't look easy for Fury even if he wins (which again, I think he probably will).

Hopefully it’s a good fight with no controversy
I also heavily favour Fury but Whyte is going to give his all and do everything he can get away with in this fight and as long as he’s still there Whyte will be a threat .

Fury always described as head and shoulders above Whyte by forum.

That Fury could beat Whyte twice on Sunday with one arm tied behind his back. That Whyte poses no threat except a punchers chance “wilders level”.

That Whyte has been very lucky in his fights to get this far. Okay let’s see fight night how easy of a Sunday style job Whyte is.

Funny how Fury has given him respect thus far compared to previous opponents that he clowned.

Context being that Whyte has spent this build-up missing media while grouching in the background about not being shown enough respect by Fury's side. Today, the champion and his promotion extended him a warm welcome and kind treatment he's been crying out for.

Dillian, for his part, is hardly the guy we're used to seeing in a fight week.

    Two possible answers...

    1) They know each other well enough to kind of like each other.

    2) Fury's had a lacklustre camp and is nervous.

As far as point #2 goes, both looked a little nervous in the presser, so it's entirely possible that Fury doesn't feel like he's at his best, it's also possible that he believes Whyte is a much bigger threat than Wilder (if he does then I'd happen to agree).

We'll see on fight night but I suspect it's not going to be as one sided as this forum would have you believe.

He’ll show up fight night and that’s all that matters. Fury wanted a media blackout, Whyte wanted it for different reasons.

I want to see how Fury is head and shoulders above Whyte on fight night. I want to witness, as posters here have foreboded, how Fury clowns Whyte. Makes him quit. Makes him give up.
