He was never knocking out Wach No body has so and i doubt that ever changes Guy was shrugging off blows last night Whyte actually got hurt far more However its wrong to judge him on last night The next fight will say a lot
I agree 100%, no excuse not to be in the gym, none whatsoever, spar, train, keep that "Champion" mentality that he bangs on about. Hearn must have said to Whyte at least 4 months ago "all being well, I will try my absolute best to get you on that card" Whyte must have had some idea there was a real possibility he was fighting on that card. He looked awful, he looked seriously overweight, slow, average at best, when he walked in to the ring his gown at the front look stretched. He get in the ring and leans on the ropes and his stomach was hanging down like a 70 year old woman who had 15 kids.. that a mental imagine to put you off your Sunday roast init I have a slightly different take, if it was me and I KNEW I was innocent, I would be in the gym knowing I would be found innocent, knowing I did nothing wrong and knowing I would be cleared. The fact he looks like he gave up, stopped training, says to me that Whyte thought his career might be over, look.. he has been found innocent and so therefore I have to say he is but why would you just stop training and caring? Makes me question him and the situation. Watching Whyte last night, it was an extremely bad version of him physically and mentally but his technique was also shocking, I'm not so sure he is a genuine top Heavyweight regardless of his run of results. We have a few coming through that could swallow his piece of ground up, Dubois, Hrgovic and maybe even the likes of Joyce. Whyte looked very beatable last night and not just because he looked obese and we have to remember he was hanging on for dear life with Parker by the end, Rivas gave him all he could handle, Whyte might have missed his chance, missed that little period of time when he could have picked up a version of a world title.
Bakole was night and day better against Wach than Whyte was, and it wasn't just his conditioning. His technique was a disgrace. People go on about Wilder being poor, and sometimes he is, but Whyte last night spend ten rounds halfarsedly chopping and slapping a bang average opponent.
The thing that was so worrying last night is how easy he got tagged on numerous occasions And thats by Wach who over the last few years has hardly made a dent in opposition he has lost to Like i say next fight will be telling but last night was shocking A great point raised above about how he would have had an idea he was fighting and should have been training Even on here for weeks if not months its been rumored he would return on this card If we knew about it id image Whyte did Last night really did him no favors
People forget that Whyte has been in quite a few tough fights, he already has quite a few miles on the clock. One thing that can't be doubted though is his toughness, his will to win and tough out moments is his biggest attribute imo.
Bakole would wipe out Anthony Fury-Klitschko - seen enough in the Hunter fight and he was one punch away from stopping him a few times.
Whyte will never be a world champion. He’s made far more money than his ability should have allowed and for that i congratulate him, but ability wise he will always be the level below.
Whyte is bang average but he has tremendous heart and in this poor crop of heavies it is enough to stand out.
This content is protected It's people like you that have depressed Dillian Whyte it an already brutal sport that sapped you mentally Weldone haters
This fight was way more fun that I had anticipated. He gets a *slight* pass from me given it wasn't on much notice but even so, he isn't exactly banned from gyms and this 'dark place' nonsense doesn't wash with me. Wach is slow as Hell so it's a little concerning that he was able to land so much. Wonder where he'll go from here.
