Arreola is done. Breazeale would be a good fight and why not even Ugonoh? Not American but based there and known to the American audience, I'm sure he'd be up for a chance to get back in contention. I don't rate Amir Mansour but he is game for a fight. Miller and Washington are fighting next so they are out. What about Cunningham? Probably passed it but he's still fighting and boxed in March. Jennings has a fight lined up now next month but both of them were claiming the other ducked, so a fight with Whyte ain't happening any time soon.
Doubt he wants a fight that he could potentially lose. I think this is a keep busy fight before a 'big' fight in November / December
Riddick Bowe was at one point Unified Heavyweight champion in an era of heavyweights (1990s). Todays heavyweights are not of the same calibre, Whyte is a good example. Hes considered a top 10 heavyweight by a lot of boxing fans yet he has no power or ring skills. He would have just been another name on David Tuas resume if he fought in Bowes era.
Really pathetic how they canned that. Must have been really bad ticket sales or they realised that Whyte wouldn't be able to put a dent into Wach's iron chin.
I'd rather see him fight Wilder rather than Stiverne any day, but doubt if that will happen, looks as if Wilder will fight Stiverne. Could someone tell me how Stiverne got ranked #1 WBC?
He's fighting 2 weeks on Saturday and still no opponent ? At this rate they'll be wheeling out Dustin Nichols (unless Wilder has him booked already).
It'll be some crappy joey Abel/ derric rossy type at best when really him and Jennings make more sense
