Based on what his Widler fight. Where he ran out of steam fighting at a hugely slow pace??? Where he couldn't get a guy out of there who was ready to be ktfo??? Omg Wilder balls are going to break off given the weight hanging off his ball sack. What we learnt about Ortiz was his power is over rated and his tank is pretty poor. Parker would stop Ortiz meddle rounds because he wouldn't be on **** street for 2 rounds like Wilder...
Whyte/Parker Povetkin Ortiz. That's how I see it. I could see Whyte and Parker being a tough one too call. They both outwork Ortiz and Povetkin too decisions
Yeah that's pretty much how I have it. Povetkin for me is still one of the top guys despite his age and probably being PED free. His offence is still very good, clearly still hits hard but he does struggle with big opponents but neither Whyte, Parker or Ortiz are significantly bigger. Parker and Ortiz I think both lose to Povetkin. Ortiz too slow, doesn't throw enough, dangerous puncher but Parker and Povetkin have superb chins. I could see both Povetkin and Parker out working a lackadaisical Ortiz. Parker by UD, Povetkin by KO. Whyte looked good beating Browne but lets be honest Browne was old, fat and slow as molasses. Browne gets KO'ed by Povetkin, Parker and Ortiz too. Whyte still has a lot to prove still, he's better than I thought but I can't favour him over these other top heavies yet.
Didnt say he was the best of the 4. Just feel if they fought this yr ortiz would beat parker, stylistic nightnare for parker. I used parker as the example because we were talking about him Post AJ fight. Povetkin though would beat Ortiz I rekon. Parker a touch too quick for povetkin. Povetkin looked lumbering last night
It's hard to rate them because Povetkin, Parker and Ortiz are three different types. If Parker fights Ortiz like he fought AJ i can see another wide UD for Ortiz. Povetkin also won't match as good with Ortiz. Price is garbage overall, not even british title level. Better club level imo especially considering his weak movement and defense he is not made for the HWD. Gets knocked out vs any decent puncher out there who knows how to handle size. The only thing i am sure about is that Whyte won't win vs any of those other names. He might have the best chance vs Povetkin. I think 1. Ortiz 2. Parker 3. Povetkin 4. Whyte You guys should not overrate Povetkin here because of that KO yesterday. I think Ortiz would have KOd Price in the first round. Parker is not the "KTFO" type so he is definitely the most dangerous man here of those four, especially due to his age and his very good movement/fast hands but i doubt he has the big ko power. Ortiz was hammered several times by left and rights of Wilder and was KOd in the tenth round....i do not see Parker KOing him. Povetkin has the power but lacks other things. A Whyte vs Povetkin match makes sense if Hearn will do that. Ortiz is too dangerous to fight for Whyte as he does not bring up the money and Parker DEFINITELY would beat Whyte. Also it makes no sense let him fight Whyte now after losing to AJ. I personally think Ortiz might fight Miller next after he beat Duhaupas.
