After seeing Whyte getting destroyed in round 12 by Parker, I think it wouldn't make any difference who he spars with. He went life and death with Wach.
He has the power and is a better inside figter just needs a ref to stop Fury holding and headlocking.
I was wondering why he didn't pick Wach as a sparring partner. He's very tall and heavy. And performing better against Wach (who Whyte looked terrible against when they fought) in the gym might give him confidence. But Wach is probably on medical leave after getting knocked out a couple weeks ago.
Fury will be back to his boxing against Whyte then when he feels it’s time he will up the pressure and go for the stoppage. Simple boxing is all that’s needed so no need to risk it with any other game plan imo .
Fury can take away Whyte's overhand right hand almost entirely out of a southpaw stance... Whyte will fall apart when he stops using his jab after a couple of rounds.
That's malarkey. His right hand is more accurate and a good one. Wilder scored 4 knockdowns with it. He was also hurt to the body and can be hit there. Whyte needs to focus on making Fury fight and come in shape himself. He can knock Fury out, no doubt.
If Fury wants a fight then Whyte is a live dog in my opinion. He does have the power the KO anyone, he’s a big heavyweight. The issue for me is that if he doesn’t get Fury out of there in the first 6 rounds, he will be exhausted (whatever pace he fights at) Fury knows the way to win this is to stay behind the jab early and then let his hands go after halfway, before stopping him within 10
Shyte wont be landing anything significant. Shorter than Wilder with a shorter reach. His low iq wont do him any favors either. Fury can simply toy with him and embarrass the caveman or walk him down and KO him inside 1. He beats Shyte any way he likes. It's no comparison.
Jim Watt always said it's easier to sustain a high pace if you're the one setting that pace. It maybe that Whyte is planning to try and take the legs and gas out of Fury. It's worth a try. Whyte doing the same old same old certainly won't work.
Whyte isnt a good forward fighter. he likes to outbox, sit and counter which clearly Fury will make light work of. He came forward against helenius but if you watch him plod forward its clear he'd get slapped fighting like that.
Whyte needs to change his game. This seems a good way of taking Fury out of his comfort zone. I'm not saying it will work, Fury is the more talented Fighter by a distance but it shows Whyte and his team are thinking creatively.
BS. He lost 3-4 rounds to Wallin and he isn't as good as Whyte! Whyte easily beat Wallin and Parker ( floored him 2dx ) who is better than Wilder. You Fury fans vastly overrate your man. Lets see him take a good one on the chin.
