Then he’ll return to Queensbury HQ to find his accountant curled up in a ball crying.

The business model that boxing has means that fighters need good relationships with the money men. Dillian, who I've always liked BTW, never seems to have got this. His arrangement with Matchroom has been fight by fight and he's focussed solely on the WBC route to a title whilst publicly feuding with them. He may well have got the short end of the stick here but nobody is motivated to stick up for him. Fury (post-comeback) and Joshua have been careful to maintain good relations with the sanctioning bodies they represent whilst working hard for their promoters. Dillian's on his own in a shark tank and that isn't a wise place to be.

If you truly believe that then you are more team Matchroom than i thought (maybe i should say Anti Warren rather)

Whyte was always going to do this regardless

He is sulking about being on a Queensbury show and his purse split

A few tickets and a plane wasn't changing that

By refusing to give Whyte any tickets, laughing on camera whenever he gets beat, saying he’s shyte etc Warren has made a rod for his own back. Bet he’s shitting himself at the thought of the weight in and having to stand between them.

He fought Joshua on a Matchroom show before signing with them and had no problems taking part in the promotion there. Joshua earned 10x as much as Whyte did for that fight too.

    What's your point?

I said he does not want to fight on a Queensbury show

    Not a Matchroom one

And you simply cannot compare Whyte's position to talk about higher purses from both time periods in the same manner

You cannot compare Whyte's commercial value with Wilder, Wilder was an undefeated, current heavyweight champion with over 10 defences who many described as the most feared puncher of his generation. Regardless of covid, Whyte never has never had an 8 figure payday and has earned on average £1 million per fight, Povetkin 1 was by far his biggest purse. You seemed to had forgotten he went life and death with both Parker and Chisora both ending in contentious decisions and also got knocked out cold by a 40 year old ex contender. That has effected his commercial value, he is essentially damaged goods until he proves otherwise. This purse is more than he would earn against any other heavyweight champion, Fury got £5 million for fighting Klitshcko and embraced the opportunity. Dillian may sell out the O2 with a stacked undercard (against Chisora he was the b-side in terms of fans buying tickets) but he never will be a stadium fighter. The draw here is Fury fighting in Wembley not the fact that is is Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte. There is risk being taken on both side and the loss and gain to both fighters has to be commercially viable, in this case Dillian Whyte has very little/nothing to loose where as Fury is putting his legacy, 9 figure fighting status (he has fights against Ngannou worth north of $100,000,000 to come) multi million pound endorsements and unbeaten record on the line. From Fury's perspective, if the money he is receiving is not worth the risk of his stake, he may as well drop the belt and let Dillian earn $4million for a vacant title, a fight which he will almost certainly loose against either Joe Joyce or Deontay Wilder

With regards to people whinging about the PPV price and undercard, unfortunately that is the nature of commercial boxing, bringing this fight to the UK is a lossmaker for Warren, he will not break even on this fight and it will cost his investors money to put on. It is however in the UK though as it should be and we should be grateful he has spent the money to bring the fight here. If you add on inflation from the last 2 years this is actually £20 but boxing fans expect fights to get cheaper while prices rise for pretty much every other overhead. in America this will be £45.

‘the draw is Fury fighting at Wembley’ would 94k tickets be sold if he was fighting Wallin or Schwarz?

Also Fury isn’t getting ‘north of $100,000,000’ to fight Ngannou

Let's not forget Whyte's mysterious PED samples which were lost under the carpet around the Rivas fight. He has been very well rewarded compared to other boxers in a similar situation.

Let's face it, he should have followed the same road as Big Baby Miller into obscurity after that incident.

    Top angling Mr Fisher.

Now Whyte's mouth's staying firmly shut,
    Some blame the dodgy split,
But wise folks sense the presence of,
    The odious Matchroom ****....
