Again, show me where the $77 dollar tickets are. There are 0 available at that link. The cheapest available are $129.40 and there's only two single seats left in two different upper sections.

If you want to sit anywhere near a good seat it's over $500. The very worst floor seats are over $1,000.

Don't post BS. Check before you get bold son.

Wilder-Fury is on course for a massive gate and huge profit for the event. The likes of which Mis-Matchroom have never seen.

The cheaper tickets are likely sold out, just because they are no longer available doesn't mean they were not on sale previously.

The link below says there were tickets ranging from $75-1000 plus some premium packages which I assume would be the $1553 USD tickets. This is the official ticket seller of the Staples Center so clearly this must be accurate.

Take 5 minutes and actually look at the seats available before you chat any more ****. The $130 tickets are awful. Where the F were these imaginary $77 ones then?

You said it yourself "seats available."

They are no longer available as the cheap tickets sold first for this over priced show and so all you have left are the $130 and above tickets.

How are they imaginary if the "official" ticket seller says they exist? You're no one of those tin foil hat wearing weirdo's who thinks everything is a conspiracy if it's not laid out literally in front of you are you, you know the flat earther types.

FYI, there are only 2 $130 tickets left. Most remaining tickets are $300+.

You can call it over priced, but by some accounts well over half the stadium is already sold. Even Eddie Sperm claims they've done 8,000 and that was before the official undercard was even announced.

This thread was about showing off about how Chisora-Whyte is doing better. That's simply not the case. I hope you can accept that now.

Selling-out a cheap show, with tickets a quarter the price, and making much less money for it is not success. Selling PPVs at a quarter of the price is also not success. Mis-Matchroom make money, but it's just not comparable to the real US promoters. No amount of Brit posters chatting balls will ever change that.

While I expect Wilder/Fury to generate more revenue as it's a title fight and a bigger fight in general in regards to expectations Wilder/Fury is doing worse.

Nobody expects Whyte/Chisora to break PPV records, it will likely do about 400-500K buys in the UK and their purses will likely total a few million at best. While Wilder/Fury was set up to give the winner leverage over Hearn and Joshua and it doesn't look like that's going to happen. The arena will be half empty, the PPV numbers will likely not even meet their lowest expectations.

If Wilder and Fury's guarantees are too high and the revenue too low even if making more than Whyte/Chisora, who knows if they'll even break even while Whyte/Chisora is certainly going to do well and make a profit for all involved. It's all relative.

yes. Less than 100 on there now. Manchester arena is 20k. Hundreds?

Of course touting is a thing. But there has to be a demand for it for to work otherwise touts couldn't do it!!

Not sure how selling 8k weeks after the fight was announced is a good thing. I thought this was supposed to be the hottest show in town. The fight of the year etc etc.

The biggest fights sell out within days. Weeks later tickets are still not avaliable for an arena which isn't even fully open.

Remember the vast majority of tickets are sold early. It isn't weeks later that you see thousands of tickets sold as the demand doesn't suddenly increase as time goes by.

Yep 6 weeks out from Canelo/GGG 2 there were only 2000 tickets left and here we are 3 weeks out and they haven't even sold half the tickets according to some reports.

Even if it does sell out doesn't mean it will be a PPV success. Golovkin/Lemieux had strong sales, broke the MSG pre-sales ticket record, selling some 6000 tickets before the public sale and sold out 2 days before the fight. But only did 153K in PPV's.

I would love to know the costs for this fight. Be interesting to know what Fury and Wilder's guarantees are before PPV upside.

I assume the guarantees are pretty low, probably lower for Wilder as he's never been paid well and if Warren is to be believed Fury got 5 mill for Seferi and Pianeta, so he'd want at least that as a guarantee. Everyone going in knew this had the potential to flop hence why they never revealed the guarantees like with other fights.

I bought a half price ticket from Stubhub. The touts have been stung & there are $1k tickets going for less then $400. Return flights direct to LA for just over £300.... Hotels in Cardiff were more expensive for Joshua

I don't think anyone will be shedding a tear for these poor ticket touts, lol.

Still doesn't look good, less than 3 weeks out and they still have a lot of floor seats available which won't look good on TV with big sections unsold near the ring. They'll need to give out a ton of complimentary tickets to fill those seats and create the illusion that it sold well on TV.

    Maybe you're onto something.

There were plenty of idiots willing to part with $80 to watch an event a few months back with pre-filled cards.....Which was the result of an event 12 months earlier, with pre-filled cards.
There were even more idiots willing to part with $100 to watch a boxing event with a guy who has never boxed before.....

Maybe the US just lacks knowledgable boxing fans.
