Just seen on Eddie’s latest IFL interview that this is a real possibility for December 22nd with Chisora pricing himself out maybe.

I’d love to see them go at it and then Dillian finally get a mandatory position with the WBC.

    Not PPV worthy though.

Won’t it be for the second mandatory position tho? That’ll come around in aproximatley 4 years or something? Great fight but it won’t get him any nearer a fight with Wilder

Why the **** does anyone think Dillian Whyte should keep being on PPV.......i dont understand it at all

Seriously ,Whyte v Anyone unless it is for a genuine belt should not be PPV ....

Dont believe for a second he will fight Ortiz btw...A hearn bluff to get Chisora and Co to lower their £££££ demands....30% of a few million is a lot better than 100% of nowt

Unless Ortiz is in retirement I reckon he might stop him like he almost did Wilder...

This would be an early stoppage win for Ortiz. Ortiz is no clown, and he won’t fight timid like Parker. He is an OG of this fight game and he will smoke Whyte’s boots emphatically. This would be catastrophic match-making from Hearn and it would scupper the April showdown with Joshua. Hearn is probably just chatting **** to pressure Chisora into accepting a poor split. I would be gobsmacked if he allowed Ortiz to derail the April fight, although I guess Ortiz could then take Whyte’s place instead.

I’d love to see it actually...think Whyte would be forced into a war and it’d be fun while it lasts...

Maybe Hearn wants to stop the AJ v Whyte fight in April......Lets be honest Hearn has come out of the Wilder thing not only looking an absolute sh1thouse by hardcore fans but even worse for Matchroom massively out of pocket.....

Wilders team wont even pick up the phone to Matchroom now and Fury refuses to speak about AJ ...Where does AJ go?...defo not near Ortiz

I can see Hearn taking AJ to fight Baby Miller in USA to get him some exposure and try to get Wilder interested again....

I did say when Wilder / AJ was in negotiations that it would not happen and AJ would fight Povetkin then Whyte and Miller....Maybe Whyte is getting in the way now

I agree I think it's being used to smoke Chisora out.

Ortiz will lose his pen or balls.
Whyte destroys this hyped up pensioner.

Does Whyte have to beat everyone in top 10 individually to get a title shot?

Chisora's been in the game to fall for this knows what his worth is. He'll get the right price.

To be honest I don't know why Whyte is entertaining either Ortiz or Chisora. He could easily sit on his rankings and fight a WBO top 15 Nobody and hang on for the AJ fight.

Whyte wins this one. Everyone keeps underestimating Whyte but he keeps on winning and I would rate him the best heavyweight outside AJ and Wilder.
I personally don't think this fight will happen and if I was Whyte then I would be chasing Breazeale to get the WBC mandatory as he already deserves it.
