Whyte v Pulev purse bid won at $1.5 mil

Kubrat stated that he wanted to fight Whyte in Bulgaria. I wouldn't be surprised if he gave Ivaylo Gotzev some money for that bid. It would make sense. Kubrat is not about the money. He could have made a lot fighting AJ injured. In regard of the undercard, I hope that they put Tervel against someone in top 20-30.

 

I've just checked Kubrat's official FB account and he posted a message on May 24 that he won the bid. So I guess he is directly involved with the winning bid.

 

Indeed, Kubrat Chagaev would smash Whyte. But he has bigger fish to fry, a showdown with AJ.

Kubrat has a good jab and a long reach. When AJ lost 3 fights at Olympics to the Cuban, Dychko, and Cammarelle but the corrupt judges bailed him out, he was having lots of trouble with that sorta style that Pulev has.

Man, that was bs the Cuban blew out AJ in the first round of the Olympics. AJ shoulda came in 16th place or whatever everyone knows that! It took 2 more extremely gifted decisions to drag AJ's arse to the medal like it was scripted to happen.

 

Pulev apparently is getting 75% and Whyte is getting 25% of the purse split?? That can't be right, lol just imagine if Whyte loses to Kubret. That would be the worse management of promoting in a long time. Didn't Dillian go mental at Eddie in his office last time, he'll smash the place up , lol!

So this is a new company trying to get a big push.

And they just bid almost double what they needed to?!?! Whoever came up with that number should be fired.

So Whyte is only worth 50% of 750k to everyone out there except for "Epic Sports & Entertainment?" I thought Pulev was big time in Bulgaria? No billionaire willing to shell out a single million to have the national hero do a show in his home country? And I sort of thought Whyte's stock might be a little higher, too... How odd this whole thing is.

 

No one has said it will not be in Bulgaria. Besides, even if Sauerland won it, they would probably have it in Bulgaria. It may be a new company but Ivaylo Gotzev has been in the game for decades.
