Hi Eh Day The PPV button on my Sky remote has malfunctioned for years and will simply not allow me to watch on Sly Box Office. In addition as an existing Sly Sports Subscriber, my conscience would not allow me to pay an extra £20 to watch what I have already paid for and finally multi millionaire fat puddings do not deserve it. Please advise on how to deal with my significant issues.
I'm sorry to hear that. If your red button is still working you can enjoy the Barbasol Championship at 9pm?
I'm going with Whyte for the simple fact he is proven, fought and beat better opponents. But that weigh in didn't fill me with confidence, even Whytes little interview after the weigh in, Whyte didn't see, his usual self, looked a little rattled on my opinion. I agree, the referee will be giving warning for anything and I wouldn't be surprised if he is taking points by round 3 if Whyte starts slow LOL
It’s relevant what you say about the ref because I believe they have played a massive part in his last 2 fights. I watched the second fight between Whyte v Chisora last night. It really was a very palatable fight which is perhaps overlooked because of the conclusive finish. However, that conclusive finish only arrived because the referee would not allow Chisora to continue with the tactics that were not only winning him the fight but also playing a huge part in Dillian not being able to land his money shot. Chisora was able to make himself smaller, ducking and weaving through Whyte’s jab constantly, landing his body shots and sitting right on his chest. However, this meant that Marcus McDonnell was forever penalising Chisora for leading in with his head and low blows (but seemingly ignoring Whyte’s use of his elbow and holding him down). By the 11th, he took another point off Chisora thus not allowing him to continue with these tactics meaning he could no longer keep his head low on Whyte’s chest. He instead opened up, threw hooks with Whyte and got starched. We saw John-Lewis give a 10-8 round off an headbutt but also allowed Whyte to clinch, use the elbow (yet again) and excessively hold Parker over the ropes and not breaking when the ref told him. I think Rivas presents a similar set of problems as Chisora. He will stay low, lead with his head (being the smaller man) and make it difficult for Whyte to land those big shots. I expect the ref to deduct points once again, and Rivas will have to stop him to win.
