Eddie has mentioned this as a fight he will try and make if Ortiz gets cancelled.

Since this has now happened and Breazele has been taken off the card I’m guessing this is the natural fight for the 28th...

What’s people’s thoughs... I think it will be a really good fight with Whyte on points victory

I would be happy with this. If nothing else Brezaeale is one tough mofo who took a whopping off Joshua but stayed In There until the 2nd half. I don't actually think Whyte is that great but he should win on points

Whatever purse Stiverne was on should go to Whyte. A better fight than Stiverne Wilder to be honest.

Pretty decent fight actually. Probably lean toward Whyte but I wouldn't be shocked if it's close

Breazeale is a tough fight for Whyte. Breazeale is big, has decent power, great chin and a ton of heart. In terms of technical ability Breazeale is poor but Whyte isn't exactly hard to get too.

Hope this fight happens, one I have been wanting to see for ages. A real 50/50 fight IMO. Shortish notice but fact Brezaele was in camp for big fight will mean he's also fighting fit.

Brezeale with a full camp would be favourite IMO. There's no chance powder puff punching Whyte can stop iron chinned Brezeale. Dominic's win over Izu is better than anything on Whyte's record (because he never truly beat Chisora). Aside from the dodgy win over Del, Whyte's best win is against a short notice Lewison. Brezeale would absorb everything Whyte has to throw at him, then finish strongly and grind him down. I'd back him to stop Whyte late.

This could be a really good 50/50 fight. This is Whytes level imo. I think it could get up a bit like Whyte v Chisora with big shots landing throughout as both are very limited defensively.

Good fight, won't be anything to write home about technically but both bring a big heart and a solid chin which should equate to some good entertainment. I just hope Breazeale is happy to bring his date forward a week and have it on the Joshua/Pulev card (which is a bit weak) rather than the Wilder/Stiverne card which is a total write off now.

Hope this gets made, a genuine 50/50. Think the build up will be entertaining and I currently think the joshua pulev undercard is severely lacking another big fight like this to justify the Cardiff stadium choice and without it it'll be a weak pay per view event.
