Vacant British title is on the line next month, would have much preferred Whyte vs Price/ Hughie but maybe they weren't interested.
Price wouldn't fight Whyte, Price is looking for a payday/pension but has to avoid any genuine threat and keep his fingers crossed. Price will hang around beating up Lithuanian doormen and hope AJ comes through any tests and then hope there is nobody else around and get a title shot and payday by default. Hughie Fury has been out for a while and with everything going on in that gym I'm not surprised he didn't take it, just like I'm not surprised Hughie priced himself out of a Joshua fight. I don't blame him, he needs time. Lewison is OK, not great and I expect Whyte to win comfortably enough but the rivalry will make it interesting and the build up should be entertaining.
I'm not sure, I think Sexton and Lewison are around the same level but it should be more exciting, there will be genuine needle.
Looking forward to this one. If the press conference was anything to go by this should be a decent tear up!
Think Lewison is a tougher fight than Sexton and as said above, at least he'll give it a go for 4 rounds. He's got a decent punch and little to lose. That's why AJ swerved him on the way up. He also has a KO win over Solis in the ams.
Well, it might be reasonably entertaining I guess. Just finding it hard to be motivated by Whyte's career path to be honest. It's moving so slowly and always seem to rely on exciting press conferences
Lewison will give it a go and will be dangerous in the first 3, but after that I expect Whytte to really take over and dominate with the jab to win on points or maybe force a late stoppage.
Interesting fight, Lewison has some power and with the rivalry between them whyte might get involved in a tear up. Fun fight imo.
