ive seen that Francis guy punch and its impressive,

however, why face a top boxer right off the bat rather than facing a few lower calibre guys first to get some experience?

well you do it for quick money that's why.

I'd be interested to see it in a cage.

Why not, Dillian has some experience as a kickboxer, more than Ngannou as a boxer anyway

But I cant see Dana White be willing to do it under UFC rules. Imagine Ngannou, winning but still looking poor. Plus the UFC is kinda grooming Francis into their new cash cow, they would have a lot to lose and little to win imo

    What do you think ?

Francis would destroy Dillian in the cage, a bit of experiance, like Conor had a bity of amateur boxing experience, it`s not even near enough.

At least at heavyweight, power would be more of a factor, if Ngannou actually had some in boxing gloves.

MMA fighters have been man enough to step outside their comfort zone and into boxers domain long enough now and it's time for boxers to grow some plums and step over into theirs.

That being said, I wouldn't mind watching Dill paddle Ngannou's ass under the Marquess of Queensberry Rules. These MMA fighters need to understand that there is only one Sugar ''Money'' Mac and no athlete, regardless of what sport they earn their crust in, is ever going to be able to replicate what he did against a fighter the calibre of TBE ever again, let alone in their pro boxing debut. Taking 4 rounds off Floyd and actually walking him into traps and sweet counters in your pro boxing debut is an absolutely insane feat.

what if Whyte kos Fury for the belt and Ngannou gets the UFC HW belt ?...

we would have a boxing HW CHAMP vs the UFC HW CHAMP?...
the interest for this fight would be insane.

Mma vs boxer is always going to be the Mma guy just trying to get the boxer on the floor and dry hump him and all the rest of that **** it's pointless and boring, likewise in boxing the mma guy will just get schooled

They need to find a middle ground like the mma guy can kick but no takedowns

Sounds like a real who cares type of fight under either boxing or mma rules, neither are massive draws and it would be much bigger if at least 1 had a world title.
A fight between them would be more lucrative for Ngannou then almost any fight for him in the UFC currently but the fight makes little sense with both being only 1-2 fights from world title shots and you would think their focus at the moment would be on gaining those title shots.

TBH that was a very poor showing by Floyd. Reminds me of Wlad's showing against Fury or even Lewis against Vitaly. Guys who have always fight with a huge reach advantage suddenly lose their boxing finesse when fighting taller guys.

Floyd looked like an amateur, and tbh, watching that and Floyd helplessly crouching with both hands on his face and mcgregor semi-hammer fisting the back of his head, just shows he could have done what he want anytime if it were an mma fight.

In fact, even with rules of 3 min round, only 30 seconds of kicking and grappling allowed per round, I'd still pick Mcgregor to take Floyd out inside 3 rounds if not the first.
