This isn’t a comment on who wins, but rather to say that Whyte’s stamina is questionable at best. Against both Chisora and Parker, by the end he was swinging like a drunken bar fighter.

Because it will hit revenues and both fighters will suffer.

I reckon Ortiz has the power and accuracy to keep Miller honest and slow down the pace to something more comfortable for the septuagenarian. Miller hasn't faced anybody even close to King Kong's calibre yet.

Wouldn't be surprised if the fight played out like a HW version of Lara/Hurd, like you predict though. They're both quite unproven IMO.

    poor old whyte

on esb at the moment he should fight ortiz / breazeale/miller/ /pulev and if he beats all them he will get a title shot after he beats usyk in a final eliminator

meanwhile prince charles martin/molina twice /arreola/dulhaupus/spilzka/washington/breazeale/takam / fully deserve there title shots.

IMO whyte is only a basic fighter but he has great heart and will to win and that trumps talent up to a point

both joshua and wilder beat him / but there is not a heavyweight who is more deserving of a title fight

Probably someone back in the amatuers . There isnt a chance in hell Ortiz can maintain the pace with Whyte. Either Ortiz gets the early KO, or he'll be spent by the 4th/5th round and Whyte runs and punches him raggered.

Wrong. He ducked Ortiz last summer which would’ve given him mandatory status for the wbc. You don’t pick and choose who you fight to become a mandatory. **** Whyte.

Old man Ortiz is overrated in my view. Just cos Wilder went life and death with him - that reflects more on Wilder's lack of defence and general boxing skill than how good Ortiz is.

Maybe 10 years ago (at least) when Ortiz was in his prime he would have been the bona fide bogey man of the division .

But now as a pensioner with heart trouble, lack of stamina and getting slower by the day i think Whyte would bully him to a clear UD.

What about how Whyte needed a lenient ref just to finish the Parker fight?

He also looked like a drunk against Chisora. His stamina sucks.

Unless you are Wilder who asked Whyte fight Ortiz first to earn a shot months before, which the WBC then complied by mandating Whyte fight Ortiz despite already having mandated Breazeale/Molina as a eliminator for a mandatory shot. So it does seem you can pick who your mandatory is.

You mean like how Wilder needed a lenient ref to give him valuable time to recover after being hurt by Ortiz.
