I kind of like the fight but then I think didn't Ortiz just get KO'D fighting for the strap why is he back in position to be mandatory so quick?

Whyte vs Ortiz may be the more exciting fight but Pulev is the harder fight for Whyte.

Pulev is a big guy, much bigger than Ortiz, Ortiz should probably weigh 230lbs at the most but he carries a bit of excess. Ortiz has poor cardio and has only fought 12 rounds 1 time in a borefest. Pulev is over 250lbs and solid, taller and fitter. Pulev has the style to hit and grab, nullifying Whytes work.

Ortiz will box Whytes ears off but if he doesn't stop him before round 8, he might just get drowned by the younger Whyte. Pulev can fight fght for days, he can win by points or KO.

Whyte should change his nickname to 'the nurse'. Always like to compare the career progress of Whyte and Jarrel Miller. In a logical boxing world, these 2 should be fighting Joshua an Wilder tomorrow, but the 2 legit contenders seem forever stuck cleaning out the golden oldies.

    I'd pick Whyte.

Ortiz is plodding and has no gas tank, his effort vs Wilder was probably the absoloute BEST he can produce at his old age and i could easily see him coming into this heavy and unmotivated, making him even less effective.

Whyte would just need to not do anything stupid early then go bulldozer mode as of round 7

Whyte, being in his prime, will outwork the older Ortiz. Whyte has come along way since his defeat to Joshua (which at parts was a close fight).

Is Ortiz's confidence damaged now? he spent years under the guise of being a "boogeyman" but now not so much.

People saying the Cuban will "KO Whyte stiff" are letting their hate-boners of Hearn get the better of them.

Would also love to hear the excuses post fight as to why Wilder should be allowed to continue to duck Whyte.

Saw an article that Whyte may be fighting Parker next. Hearn is putting Haymon and his fighters on the bench. Might backfire though, Whyte has a far better chance of beating Ortiz than Parker.

Voted Ortiz, who I'd expect would win, but now it substitutes for Parker.

Ortiz should win ! Higher class of fighter but he is getting on a bit so anything is possible!
