Whyte needs a legitimate fight against a real contender. I'd be amazed if he were made mandatory after that. He needs Ortiz or Miller or Breazale or someone like that.

All tonight showed was that he wasn't 38 and a few stone overweight. He doesn't deserve Wilder. After an Ortiz or Miller I'd hold my hand up and say he does.

Although Browne was poor Whyte did look a solid fighter tonight.

I think he beats Miller easily. Miller comes forward, is very much lacking in defence, is very slow and has no snap on his punches due to being far too heavy. Rather similar to Browne actually, but without the threat of power imo. Whyte tees off on him for 12 rounds easily, perhaps a late stoppage.

Nah. Whyte has beat 3 quasi contenders in the past 1.5 years. No other non top 5 HW has done that. Hes earned a title shot.

If AJ and Wilder don't fight next, I hope it's Wilder Whyte.

Whyte has to fight a few classes above Miller, he would do the same to miller as he did to Browne iMO. Breazeale is a likely fight, he's been in with AJ & is rangey enough to give Whyte something to think about.
