Over here we are a lot stricter about letting guys fight if they are old and have medical issues than in the states. I remember Briggs having a lot of trouble getting a uk license.

If Ortiz rocks up with "call an ambulance" level blood pressure the day before the fight (like vs wilder) he will not be allowed in the ring

Look, we both know this fight doesnt happen pal.

Whyte will be fighting a complete bum, if he does decide to fight in December because he is the number 1 choice to be facing AJ on April 13th.

I know that fight isnt massively popular, but its pretty much already a done deal. Whyte has also objectively done more than enough since his loss to AJ to merit the rematch.

So Whyte will not be facing Ortiz or Chisora or any other top guy in December because it puts that already agreed fight at risk.

Ortiz is absolutely ancient and its possible that we never see him in the ring ever again.

Definitely possible that he doesn't get licensed if his blood pressure is too high. But this fight isn't happening. Whyte will fight Chisora and then hopefully gets KO'ed by Del Boy and we then see Joshua/Chisora. Would love to see Chisora in one last huge fight, he'll lose but it would be a nice way to retire.
