Listen from 5:57- that is how i know Whyte is a bit deluded. To not even acknowledge that Joshua is something unique and probably a draw in British Boxing you wont see until another 10-15 years is just being bitter. Joshua is a Legit PPV Fighter. However i dont blame Dillian for thinking it's a PPV Fight when he see's the likes of Tony Bellew on PPV...However some of these fighters need to be realistic about their worths. Whyte-Wilder, Whyte-Fury, Whyte-Joshua 2 are all Legit PPV's with meaning to it. But dross like Haye-Bellew, Parker-Whyte, Bellew-Cleverly, Brook-Gavin is taking the pi*s
Most seem on point though. I dont get why Sky do not release the numbers, Sky is a Public Company and the PPV Fights are funded by the Public. Information like that should be available to the General Public
Not messing about Hearn. He knows how to drum up hype for a fight. He’s already got the PR machine rolling. This content is protected
What’s the point in an eliminator when he can be AJ’s voluntary at any time? Parker is a much tougher fight that Pulev in my opinion too.
It deserves people to pay it though as I think it's a fight neither had 2 take and it's a long way back for the loser.every credit too both.
A good competitive fight doesn't mean it has to be ppv. No titles no final eliminator no guarantee of a title shot for the winner. This fight is not a headline ppv.
Massive credit to both fighters for taking this fight. The loser shouldn’t be wrote off. Comparing their best wins you have... WHYTE Helenius Chisora (v debatable) Browne Lewison Allen PARKER Ruiz Jn H Fury Takam Tupou Dimitrenko In terms of levels and stages of their opponents respective careers, you have to say that Parker’s resume’ is much more impressive. Parker also has an extensive amateur career whereas Whyte doesn’t have one. I really like Whyte, he’s improved so much but this is a step up for him. Parker is a live opponent with fast hands, good footwork and a solid chin. He was willing to exchange with AJ but the ref wouldn’t let him. I think he’ll have learned his lessons from that fight. Parker with scorecards like 116-112.
As others have said Parker stunk the house out in his past 3 fights. Whyte aside from beating up on a chubby chinny post roids Aussie, has also stunk the house out in the snooze fest against town drunk Hellenius. So we hardly have an exciting prospect on our hands here. It’s only a PPV fight because sky overpaid massively for the football, and is now robbing Peter to pay Paul. This is a blatant cash grab by Sky, it’s not PPV worthy. I would have far preferred Whyte to face Ortiz, but it was probably too much of risk for Hearn.
