Whyte points win. Pulev inactive, Whyte will be hungrier. Whyte will set the pace. Dont see current Pulev being much of a threat.
Pulev makes sense. Should be a good fight if Pulev wants it, competitive for sure, small edge for Pulev but he was inactive for quite a time now and Whyte is in shape. If it's not Pulev it might be Charles Martin. Former Joshua opponent, already fought in the UK and it's time for him to step back in the ring.
People going for Pulev reminds me of people going for Browne against Whyte. Pulev was legitimately top ten and Whyte currently is. Time has past and Pulev was never the most skilled or athletic. Whyte is more durable and moves better than Pulev. Yeah Pulev has the jab but is quite static and easy to hit. If the current version of Whyte faced Wlad when Pulev did, I think Whyte would have lasted longer and that was a younger better version of Pulev. Whyte by ko or points win.
Wow If Whyte gets that fight and wins that fight he will have a decent resume for 25 fights. Whyte seems willing to take big fights and risks. In the UK, the HW scene is very tough and the fighters often get moved very quickly. I was hoping Whyte would get the fight with Wilder. I think Pulev is arguably a tougher fight with no title on the line
Is this the WBC's way of making Breazeale mandatory instead of Whyte? What a joke of an organisation it is, and it certainly is no longer the most 'prestigious' belt. Chisora/Helenius/Browne > Ugonoh/Molina.
That's what I like about Whyte, prepared to fight anyone and no bull**** excuses about money. Outside of Joshua and Wilder this is as competitive as he could possibly get.
