I like the way Frank did it after Dubois-Gorman. Let the fighters talk in the ring and then talked boxing with the pundits outside the ring.

I still maintain that Hearn should have left for the hospital as soon as Allen was taken away on a stretcher. No idea how a man can stay in there and crack jokes in the ring about Campbell beating Loma. Tbf maybe someone like Frank Smith has gone with Allen but it still annoys me.

I thought the commentary was very biased, thought Victor Loughlin helped Whyte a bit in that final round, taking away Rivas’s momentum. That said, I thought Whyte won by at least 3 rounds. He boxed very well at times, his jab particularly when he doubled it up was excellent although to be critical the vulnerabilities are there to see. It will take a very good boxer to take advantage of them vulnerabilities though.

    Well done to the lad.

The card was decent but glad I didn't buy it. I just cant accept Allen being in the fight before the main, it is utter madness to me.

I dont mind the lad, But the Eddie Hearn , biased Sky commentary and being told "he will fight anyone" bull**** on constant loop doesn't help his cause.

Whytes clearly a much better boxer now than when he lost to AJ. The guy can box.

He's flawed just like everyone else in the division, gas tank and chin mainly but he can beat wilder.

I do wish he wouldnt fire back so recklessly when he's hurt, a few times in he got wobbled when he could have used his size just to make it scrappy and clinch. It was a really disciplined performance for the most part but he lost his poise a few times and nearly paid for it.

I don’t like the guy much but as a boxer he has my ultimate respect. A good fighting man and has improved massively.

Sorry @Jurgen but we have to stop calling Whyte a pudding. Save it for the genuine puddings please. We need to put some respect on “pudding” as a boxing phrase. Needs to be used properly.

And Macklin saying Whyte has tasted adversity and came through it, Rivas hasn't and Paulie said he came from behind to stop Jennings in his last fight lol.

I struggle with him. Very entertaining watching him fight, he just frustrates me with the hard done by act. That said, beating Parker, Rivas, Chisora etc is not to be scoffed at. I’m looking forward to him getting his big shot at the WBC title.

Macklin was commentating in Rungvisai’s last fight and said midway that he had forgotten he was a southpaw. He’s awful, just as bad as Froch. Paulie must despair at times commentating with these guys. It must be like an ex Premier League footballer commentating on a football match with a bunch of American dossers who know nothing about football.

Enjoyed the fight. Good but not great. Whyte has flaws but certainly Top 5. He is a threat for sure. That left hook can take ANYBODY out.

It was a good competitive fight.
I haven't seen it with English commentary, I watched the Russian broadcast and I scored it for Rivas by 1 point.
    115-114 Rivas.
But I can't really argue with the 115-112 scores for Whyte too much.
