I wonder how much Whyte has left after brutal beating from AJ and brutal fight vs Chisora

In both fights he was badly hurt numerous times

I'm afraid Whyte ends like Danny Williams

Has Stiverne got more power than Chisora? Probably...

    Whyte gets easily tagged.

    I'm going Stiverne.

I give Whyte the edge but neither of them are good enough to fill a mandatory slot. I rate the boy Miller higher.

stiverne of 3 or 4 years ago would beat whyte.
this version who knows / he looked fat in the povetkin weigh in.
impossible to gauge where he is at.

i agree with on the money i think miller would beat the 2 of them
although he is getting fatter every month that passes.

with all the money on offer to good heavyweights you would think they would watch what they eat and behave like the sportsmen they are.
in virtually any other sport where they had a manager they would be benched .

I'm not convinced Stiverne was ever really good, he won a vacant title vs Arreola. Hardly saying a lot.

Good analysis. I was actually 50/50 on who to pick until reading this, I'll push it up to 75 for Stiverne. Can't recall reading as simple but true a fight breakdown as that before.

Miller has never beaten anyone though, impossible to rate at this point.

It wouldn't shock me in the least if Stiverne KO'd Whyte, Stiverne while not a massive KO artist, he in all likelihood hits harder than Whyte. So if he brings the pressure like he did against Wilder, it'll end up looking like Whyte-Chisora, and Chisora nearly TKO'd Whyte 2 or 3 times, and if Stiverne hits harder than Chisora..... not saying its a guarantee, but if Bermane has anything left, its a distinct possibility.

Good fight, let's hope WBC VADA testing doesn't 'fail us' again in this one. Both guys likely have been substance abusing in their career, hope they stay clean now.

He was alright, but I guess people who serially overrated Arreola kind of have to rank Stiverne highly by extension.

I don't think he was a bum or anything, but I just never saw it. I don't think he was really world class, but if someone wants to be generous, I guess the peak version was a fringe world guy. As for this version? Dude went life and death with Rossy a year ago, and what's Rossy's level, honestly?

I think this is a good fight to gauge where Whyte is, but make no mistake...if Whyte has world level ambitions, this is a fight he has to win.

I agree with your synopsis but I always have to factor in 'hunger' when looking at a bout between a fighter who is still reaching for his level and one who reached and came up short of (his own) expectations. Most of the imponderables are in favour of Stiverne other than desire and hunger. I think Whyte really wants a world title shot and really, really wants another go at Joshua. If it gets into the latter rounds, Whyte's will to win may be decisive in a close points win. Also depends on what country it's in, of course...

    Think Whyte wins a UD.

I'm OK with Wilder-Whyte, miles better than Wawzryk!

It will depend firstly where this fight is going to be taken. If it's in the UK , Whyte wins for sure.
