https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/b...ight-against-Otto-Wallin-week-CALLED-OFF.html Good job Whyte, doing what Fury did and faking it to get out of a bad fight situation. Wallin was unnecessary risk to Whyte's shot at fury. Whether this is real or fake I don't care, I don't want to see Wallin vs Fury 2. I wanna see Whyte vs Fury, it will be worth seeing regardless of the outcome. I'm happy.
This is what I see Ticket sales are not great as Wallin isn't a huge name, undercards have been a struggle So a small injury makes it easy to call it off, as Wallin was a big risk and Whyte has the golden ticket to the chocolate factory waiting with the Fury fight.
I had a funny feeling around this fight. Not surprised at all its been called off. I don't think it will be re-scheduled either.
More like pussied out. All in wallin would of probably checked that glass jaw one time. There would be shards of that roided chin everywhere. Bob was right all along.
Strikes me as he's probably had a bit of a rough camp and has had second thoughts on risking his mandatory status especially given how much the WBC has ****ed him over in recent years. I've got tickets so pretty gutted, will be interested to see what dire main event they can put together on 2 weeks notice
Shame, was an interesting match up with some stakes as the winner was assured of a mandatory shot soon. Lol at the conspiracy theories after every cancellation. Whyte voluntarily chose to fight Wallin, he could of easily just sat on his ass and waited for his mandatory shot. Ticket sales based off of the O2 website look pretty healthy probably about 80% sold with over a week to go. Plus Whyte is looking in the best shape he's been in for ages, if he was always going to pull out why train so hard?
