So i assume he'll go straight into a fight with Fury next. Sucks for Wallin though, i thought he had a decent shot at beating Whyte.
Really, a draw? I remember Wallin being tough as nails, Fury a bloody mess, but a Draw doesnt ring a bell! Fury won that pretty comftorably imo.
Is the whole fight card off? If so, it's not fair to Wallin, who has been somewhat avoided by other heavyweights. Also Babic and Molina were set for an entertaining fight. I doubt whether Whyte really is injured, he probably realized Wallin is a risky fight and wanted to maintain his WBC status. If they cancel this card after Otto Wallin had a full training camp, or delay it for months, I will cancel my subscription to DAZN. Some fighters - perhaps Takam or Bakole - would be willing to step in to replace Whyte. Then Whyte can face Fury in March or April. This content is protected
On a side note.. DAZN must be getting sick of Eddie already, Garcias show on Saturday that cost them a fair bit of money, the reaction to PPV, which is Hearns fault because he put on so many poor PPV events and now Whyte pulling out a fight they have been advertising for weeks.. Also, Shannon "The Future GWOAT" Courtenay losing her title.. the list goes on DAZN have had their pants pulled down.
I don't think it happens now, Whyte and Hearn want that Fury fight, so do DAZN.. and they'll throw a lot of money at it to try and get Fury on DAZN. Also they were being told by a lot of people this was a big risk they were taking against Wallin and I think it has surprised them and I wouldn't be shocked if Wallin has looked very good in the gym, they've heard about it and thought better of it.
If this fight is dead and buried and hasn't just been postponed, and as of now I have no idea either way, I want a full apology from the gypsy haters regarding their criticism of Fury ''struggling'' against Ottomatic because at least he was man enough to take the Ottomatic challenge.
