Seem reasonable demand. 25% is a lowball and a duck by Arum. Now it seems Fury will fight a guy who lost every round to Whyte in Helenius. Imagine the uproar AJ would of got if he fought someone as poor Helenius.
Whyte clearly wants the fight, regardless of the obscure negotiation "hello" magazine / TMZ gossip. His big money fights would come from Joshua or Fury. Otherwise what's the end goal for Whyte? Obviously he's going to want to secure a decent payday.
Why is 25% a lowball for a mandatory challenger? Offering that for an unification fight with another title holder like Usyk (or Aj before him), that's a actual lowball and a duck.
LMAO. $5 or $6 million I could see. There's no way Whyte is worth $10 million. Fury is becoming the attraction in HW.
25% is what they offered a non too 40 fighter at the time in Wallin. WBC rules states interim champion split is 45%.
I think that's why he wants it. It's en easy fight for him that's low risk and Andy looked dire in his last fight.
Rice Pudding Jr isn't very good, in general. He couldn't even wobble a shot to pieces Liakhovich, shot to pieces and formerly retired Arreola, formerly retired Kevin Johnson, Zumbano Love or Franklin Lawrence. The only good name on his record is Joshua. He would be absolutely battered by Fury, who could do him some serious harm.
Maybe read the WBC rules before talking nonsenses??? Their split for mandatory - champ is 30-70, and if they decide could go 40-60, on top of that the guy that wins the fights take more %, im on the phone and too lazy too check what %. Now for one last time for you and all the biased blinded fanboys Whyte is not just mandatory, he is the Interim Champion. And the split ia 45-55 unless WBC decide something else, but then Hearn will refuse and will go to purse bid, and Fudy team doesnt want that. Again for all the smart... on here 30% is the bare minimum for mandatory, Whyte is Interim. And again for the same smart..... WBC already ordered the fight, so Fury is obligated to face Whyte or duck and vacate the title. Hearn himself said that 100% next Whyte fight is for the WBC, whether its vs Fury or if Fury vacate vs Wilder or so. So Fury doesn't have any cards. Whyte have them all. And Whyte have more than solid PPV numbers so far, so he may want whatever the.... he wants.
I mean Molina he should of, Brezeale at the time was undefeated and Takam was a late replacement for Pulev.
