Just claim it was from boar meat and there is a conspiracy against you. Tyson Fury did that and fans don't care he got popped for PEDs.

Tyson Fury is farcically over-rated on here in terms of popularity.

I honestly read people saying he's going to sell out Old Trafford and burst out laughing. Light punching, god-bothering gypsy is like kryptonite to your average punter.

Really disappointed Tony, not one mention of Forbes in this post. How am I supposed to know how much money the big fella (who holds a special place in your w**k bank) has???

    Have a word with yourself.

Nice try, but the only reason you hate me mentioning it is because it proves the whole 'Tyson and Wilder have proven you don't need AJ to make money' line is nonsense.

I don’t hate you mentioning it, bud. I love you giving the old Forbes list a mention. Your obsession with AJ’s financial success is entertaining. Can’t believe I had you on ignore a while back, you’re actually very entertaining albeit a little ‘unhinged’.

Economically drug cheating is near impossible without state sponsorship. Testing has come a long way in the space of 10 years. look at how big the list is now even for masking agents. It costs hundreds of millions in R&D to create a new modern drug that can beat the system. The only way that is funded is through the state. Professional athletes can't afford to pay to have these so called wonder drugs. Anyone who is taking drugs is caught when they do random testing. 10+ years ago it was much easier to cheat, science has come a long way since then. Some of these comments on this thread are irrational and libellous. AJ is signed up to VADA and UKAD (WADA), until he fails a drugs test he is not a cheat. The problem we have at the moment is the bans are too short, it seems to have moved to 6 months with boxing organisations. UKAD still ban for 2 years, WBC/WBO/IBF/WBA need to make this at minimum 2 years. Far to many people slating AJ for doing nothing wrong and make excuses for Fury/Saunders/Whyte failing tests. WBC/WBO/IBF/WBA need to work together and have a set of guidelines between them. At the moment it's a mess.

You say 'top athletes rarely fail drug tests.'

As far as I can see three of the top five heavyweights in the world (if we're including Fury, Whyte and Povetkin) have failed.

In boxing it actually seems less an issue with finding them, and more an issue of what happens to them. Lance Armstrong is a drug cheat, and a complete pariah, stripped of all his Tour de France wins and rightly vilified. Tyson Fury is a drug cheat, in a far more dangerous sport, yet keeps his titles, has his ban backdated, and is allowed to rest on a laughable 'boar meat' excuse that a child would laugh at.

So short answer is that you have absolutely no knowledge of UKAD's finances or resources, quicker to just write that deepthroat.

My opinion it wouldn't cost thousands for UKAD to email an accredited lab in any given region of the world and request they collect and analyse a sample of one of UKAD's subjects , unless you know differently which you don't you have no argument

As for the courtcase , in the unlikely event that TF convinced whoever needing convincing that nobody could prove the contaminaton didn't come from wild boar UKAD could of potentially lost millions in damages , that's millions not thousands for a guy who was always going to get a backdated ban anyway .

Completely this. If you look at studies in legit medical journals, testosterone levels generally across the globe are in decline (explains why we have so many soft men these days taking offence at everything, grown men dressing in a feminine manner, grown men walking around with man boobs etc), yet athletic performances are becoming better and better. Look at Heavyweights a few year back and they are basically Cruiserweights compared to now and the late 80s, early 90s all of the elite Heavyweights were blatantly on steroids (Tommy Morrison, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield). Size them up against AJ and just use common sense at least.

****ing Dom Ingle is the most clear steroid user you could ever seen, he has every telltale physical sign. 50-odd years old and completely jacked and he is a boxing trainer to fighters who have failed drugs tests. This is one of the leading top 5 trainers in the UK. Just open your eyes and apply some common sense before blindly covering them and saying "hurr durr, well he hasn't failed a drugs test". Drug testing is not even the be-all and end-all. Look on YouTube and you'll see dozens of videos on advice about how to beat drug tests.

Also I will reiterate once again. The International Testing Standard repeatedly cited above is a STANDARD. There is no evidence that tests are regularly taken out of competition, especially abroad. Back in 2012, after Teper failed his drug test, David Price went public in saying that as a pro he hadn't had any out-of-competition testing and this is a guy on the cusp of a world Heavyweight title shot, a former Olympian.

Gareth A Davies on Talksport today said that Whyte would not fight Joshua unless he was signed up for testing for 16 weeks. Davies made the point that Joshua signed up for random testing for his fights.
So Davies and Whyte seem to be saying that Joshua is not being tested abroad, whereas the odd poster on here thinks that a war-torn country like Yemen is providing testers to test him.
Joshua is very active on social media and could easily prove Whyte wrong but he hasn't.

Or maybe there weren’t 16 weeks to the April 13th date...

Great post! I can't be arsed going over the saga again and again these days as I have done in the past but you've nailed all the relevant points there.

I believe most top athletes are on something and Tyson probably did take gear to help knock weight off. However, UKAD's handling of the whole thing mean he'll always have a solid argument of innocence. How can you tell someone they're innocent, then charge them sixteen months later? No wonder UKAD wanted it to dissapear.
