I doubt there's enough money in the fight, Whyte can get better money vs Chisora, Bellew, Haye, Parker, etc. Although, I hear the WBSS plans a HW tournament next year and likely Hrgovic will be in it. Although getting AJ/Wilder etc. into it might be difficult, getting good opponents for Hrgovic would not be difficult. Pity though, I've rated Hrgovic the #1 HW prospect around for a while. Chin, skills, and power - he's really got it all so far as we can see.
He does seem very durable. I’ve seen him take sharp shots from big hitters and he wasn’t even close to going down. He has pop, skills, stamina... will be fun to watch in future big fights. It’s a shame he didn’t advance to the finals in the 2016 games. He had a great shot at the Gold. I thought he edged that fight vs Yoka.
Yes, I thought so too. Yoka won't make a good pro btw, he's got a very dodgy chin a @houmzz can tell you.
You’ve probably already seen this one... but here is a good performance from Filip against one of the biggest hitters out there Kuzmin. Took some venomous shots and stayed upright. To his credit though so did Kuzmin. Lol This content is protected
Kuzmin is good too ... just wonder if he is actually too small. Ferocious fighter though, will be fun.
This fight is too early for Hrgovic. He'd likely win anyway, but with two 1st KO results, I think he should at least go six rounds before scheduling a 10 round event. What is unknown to all but his handlers and sparring partners is how he looks after 10 rounds of consecutive work with one minute breaks between the rounds in the gym. Once you fight a beat guy like Whyte, your essentially in the top ten. Let him finish out the year at 4-0 and 5-0. Schedule the Whyte fight or one on that level in mid 2018. That's still very fast track.
He may will spank Whyte around all night BUT lets be honest Whyte isnt taking any fight at this point that isnt for the WBC title or working towards a shot at the title. Or a AJ/Chisora
Wilder, Browne, Miller, Breazeale, Duhaupas everybody avoided that terrifying Dillon Whyte! That was some bull**** from Hearn. Only one who has been avoiding someone is Whyte himself who seems to want no piece of ol' Chisora.
I don't think Kuzmin is too small. He's tough, hits hard and is well schooled. His issue is speed, but its going to take a top level fighter with better skills to beat him. IMO Kuzmin is better than some in Ring Magazine's top ten right now!
